Too bad this didn't stay up in the fog, this is one of my favorites. It really does look like discarded snakeskin.

I'm not really opposed to the asphalt, but I think I'd like it on brown. Either way, looks good.

We've all contemplated such moments, when we realize that we've crossed the rubicon and there's no turning back. Sometimes the realization is tinged with sadness, as in this instance, where the clown realizes he'll never wear his costume again! I used negative space to define the entire image, which imo , makes for a more realistic and intersting print. View Large Image Here!

God, I can't imagine this getting the reject button, but hokay, it's pretty simple... the Valkyries collect warriors who died in battle and take them off to Valhalla where they drink and fight and drink and fight--and probably wench, I'm not sure. They are cut to pieces each day, and become healed and whole again each night for the feasting.... Until it's time for the final battle of Ragnarok, where they are sorely needed as an army on the side of the gods.

And then the entirety of creation is somewhat cyclical in Norse mythology, in that after the battle these dead warriors are destined for, the surviving gods and one man and one woman dust themselves off and repopulate the world, which is itself renewed and fertile once more.

It's hard to think of anything more on-theme.

Unfortunately, I agree that this is too close to the existing Woot shirt. However, it will be up to the staff to decide what to do.

On the design itself, it's very cool ^^. As a coffee fanatic myself, I definately agree that coffee is life!

I like this and see it as totally on topic...relooking at past decisions, and renewing ones commitment to change...or maybe deciding to go back to re-embrace ones destiny after trying to reinvent oneself...accountant or clown...is there really a difference, after all is said and done?

Yes, the paint brush is in the design. The portion of the shirt mock up containing the paint brush is covered by the enlarged view of the design.

If you split the 16 x 20 design up according to the rule of thirds the fence runs along the top 1/3 line and the paint brush falls on the bottom right intersection point.

I favored showing the enlargement over the composition, because I wanted show case the details of the design rather than the placement.

You need to make the thumbnail color match the shirt color or you risk rejection. Also, I'm not sure but the design appears to be too wide which would get it rejected for being "outside of printable area".

Your bad attitude and sarcasm are getting extremely tired. It was never my intention to replicate a previous design, but I'm not going revoke a design because it might be rejected. As bassanimation said it's up to the woot staff to make that call.

I'm glad you liked the design. I was betting on the universal appeal of coffee when I came up with the idea.

Well, I did mean for it to be navy. It's been a while since I've submitted to the derby and I don't have all my template files on my only working computer. Because of that I downloaded the real tees template. It does look a bit off from the official color, but I have used it in the past without rejection and thought it would be ok. If woot rejects me I can certainly fix it.

I love it when vomiting is made adorable.

Very Nice! The style of this piece feels like it falls somewhere between art deco and Victorian era etched plates.

Specifically it makes me think of the old silent movie adaptation of Journey to the Moon.
