Love the color choices, particularly the two different shades of blue. Very nice work. I look forward to being able to wear this in organic chem lab next semester.

ScoobyShooter wrote:They're called chevrons, thus the logo of the gas station. Also isn't the peace sign with the palm facing outward and victory with the palm facing in? Could be wrong but that's what I thought.

No, palm-out is "Victory". Apparently the peace sign can be either palm-out or palm-in, but two fingers up with the palm facing in is basically comparable to the middle finger in the UK. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V_sign

What? Is there going to be a 'no bunnies' rule or something from now on? What's next week- is there something going on that I missed?

I love this! Is this possibly a reference to that elephant butterfly shooter toy from way way back? Haha it seems like such a long time ago... very nostalgic.

Things in this piece with V: A Vole (a type of 'Vermin'), wearing a V-neck sweater Vest, drinking a Vodka martini, listening to a Victrola made of a Vasterbottenost wheel of cheese while it plays Vivaldi's Four Seasons as it dissipates into Vapors.

Vernon the Velociraptor aka Lil Veezy the Velocirapper was always a little bit special.

Here he is on tour with his protege 800,000 Cent, formerly of the Cretaceous 5.

Re: Violin to Violets

Oh wow! It is great to come back to this design from last night and see such a boost of votes! I was totally unsure if people would like this style (one I do often off woot!), so this is most unexpected. Thanks everyone!!!:D

Earlysong wrote:I play cello, so if this prints I am obligated to purchase it as a stringed-instrument nerd. :D

Awesome - I wondered if there were other string players around here!:D (I played violin thru high school and college myself, though haven't played much recently).

TheyKilledKenny wrote:Cool shirt... and I also think creme would work... GMV

I agree, cream would have worked too... but I liked the starkness of the white with the design, if I was going to go with a light color. Thanks TKKenny!

while it looks fine and all, I am exceedingly baffled as to your comparison. I don't see an ounce of either of those designers in this.

Why not just put it on the creme colored shirt? It looks odd to me like this.

Re: Go Van Gogh Van!

I appreciate shirt designs that will make for fun shirts post-derby. When someone looks at my shirt, I don't want to say "oh it won a contest on some website". In this derby, I see several shirts that only say "look how many times my shirt makes a reference to an arbitrary letter".

This shirt uses this week's theme as a vehicle for becoming something more. I like that. Thank you, Dankstick.
