(When that shirt arrived we all just laid it out and admired its gloriousness, the look of the ink, the quality of the shirt, how your artwork printed, just everything.We hope you do make it to Barbados on the earnings!)

I0 minutes ago we just ordered an illustrator tablet and a scanner, I hope that when these arrive (feb.9th!!!) We will be able to present ourselves more effectively around here.

my design seems to have run out of steam. oh, well. thanks everyone for the kind comments. as for submitting earlier and more often... well... i'm too slow to sub earlier, and i've got a pretty limited repertoire, so i can only submit when i can match up the theme with what i can do, which is not often.

I like the idea ramyb, but execution is lacking It could have been so much better!

It's really more of me having a problem with the theme of the derby. Most of the heart cliches are (surprise) in the fog and being played up just because, and all the other ones that don't cater to the masses I unfortunately don't like because they all have to connect to the theme. So yeah, I think the theme is the problem here.

I don't see her as oblivious... she's stopped walking and notices the heart-drops. But the way I interpret this is that he's dead, but she can still feel his love around him, raining down from heaven.

You could draw food all day long and I will always love it. You always seem to capture what we're supposed to relay in our themes in such a unique way, without selling out. I really appreciate that about you.

You know I will always support your work. You have a level of detail in your pieces that I can't shy away from, no matter what. Keep fighting the good fight and keep working on stuff like this. I really enjoy seeing how you make this style adapt to the weekly themes.

For me, it's the pops of color aren't hand drawn like the rest of it that throws it off for me. They are set shapes from the Custom Shape Tool in Photoshop. If they were hand colored splotches, I think it would have retained the whimsy to totally win me over.

Loved it the first time, love it again. I even don't mind the background, not even the tree! I was definitely in the crowd of freaking out when it got the reject stamp, but I'm super excited it made it back up into the fog. Definitely want this shirt, so my fingers and toes are crossed that it places!
