It looks messed up because it is messed up. Not the way it's facing, but the structure of the leg itself. It is stumpy and amorphous compared to the raised arms holding the ice cream. I will do a redline if you would like one.

The curve in his body is a little sharp, too. It looks like he's almost snapped in half. I can visually suggest a correction for this as well.

Haha I didn't want to add too much detail, particularly the eyes, especially since they're made out of water.

It looks like it's primarily halftone black and gray.

AKA will look splotchy if it prints.

Back legs look wrong - really short and stubby. The shading is all wrong - no consistent light source. The entry is unclear - why is there a dragon eating ice cream? There is no motion to the piece - the dragon is just kinda there, with a spoon in hand. There is no indication that the spoon is moving.

All in all, a drab, lifeless, and technically weak piece.

Well, if you ignore Ramy's ice, KDeuce's smoky texture, Ramy's horns, KDeuce's clouds, and the differences in the number and detail of the dragon(s), the degree of the curve, and the flow of the necks, then yeah, exactly the same but in black and white. It must be a conspiracy.

Nice, I like the changes. The horses face looks a lot better now. I think you made the rat a little less fat, yes? And for the life of me, I still am having a hard time making out the dog and pig. I think I know where they are now, but my eyes are not playing along. If you would, could you have an image and do a light outline of each of the animals so we can find them all? That would be very helpful.

i might have to give it the varying length rays a try just to see what it looks like.

i never even really noticed the box look before you all brought it up here. but at the late hour that i finished this last night, i'd be surprised if i noticed anything.

i'd really like for woot to change their annoucing/derby acceptance days. why can't they give us the weekend to get something together and open the derby on monday? doesn't that make more sense instead of people rushing things on thursday and friday night?

The details are much better on this one, but it's still a little too similar to the first one. I think there really isn't enough changes to make it slide past rejection.

maybe because dragon shirts were already sort of trite, tired, and overdone 6-7 years ago?

While i don't believe this entry is exactly like ramyb's, I can understand where the comment came from. while not identical, both are a painfully bland and generic take on this week's theme.

i like the graphic but i think center placement is wrong for this. i think i would look better on the bottom left. but that's just my 2 cents. otherwise it looks awesome
