No, he got extended medical leave and entered into the shared vacation pool (where other people can donate vacation time to him). He is going to try to go back while the girls are in school on Wednesday and Friday this week. All three kids and me are too much for Mom right now. She napped with me most of today since Ver3 was up so much last night.

I've always thought being able to donate vacation time to someone was a nice thing to do. Most companies I've worked at don't have any official policies for it.

Faculty and people who have been at the University a long time get a lot more vacation time than Orc does. He is staff and has only been there 2 years. It is a nice system, and it is only for those who really need it.
