Re: Got any cheese? Urkel to Urquelle V2

Ah nice fix on the lion! It is a lot more recognizable. I really like this design, you did a great job. Sometimes people miss references, but even so, this is really funny.

Only lame disposable Internet culture would bother to commemorate this. Boo. Submit it to shirtaday.com.

Other than that the design is kind of interesting.

I agree, great character, but I think this needs some kind of before/after indication to bring home the concept. I like the no text rule, in general, but text would be useful in this case.

Something crazy is happening and i got a double post but I'm actually keeping this one. I thought this was going to be woot gold but clearly i have no grasp on the woot audience. Anyywayyyy i fixed the lion hopefully it more liony. If people missed it, it's Urkel from Family Matters and thats the machine that turns him into Stefan Urquelle. To paraphrase Daave Chappelle, 'Where are all these people who don't like Urkel, if you don't like Urkel something is wrong with you, something is wrong with YOU' ;)

Theories are constantly afloat about whether birds evolved from dinosaurs, whether its the exact species or not. There have been recent finds of prehistoric fossils with feathers adding significant evidence that it is possible.

Its jut a tee-shirt anyway, does it really matter? If the ancestry link doesn't do it for ya, perhaps maybe the fact that both are flying creatures, ones smaller and not as strong... maybe faster... who knows? But at least it fits into the headline of this derby... "faster, higher, stronger"

Re: Up There

Gattaca ref, cool. I like your silhouette/vector technique on this. The only piece that doesn't work is the stars -- a bit too blobby when everything else is so sharp. Maybe more/smaller stars?
