I suppose saying "Bloc Stacks You!" would be one layer too many.

Still, sweet design.

This is a great wearable design. I hope it can displace something in the fog.

Re: See evil, Hear evil, Speak evil

i get the vintage, but i don't. it does look like something you'd find at a $1 rack at goodwill which is what woot says, but at the same time it looks like its trying too hard to be retro and is probably more likely overpriced at some upscale tween boutique. i think if you had used sock monkeys or even monchichis i'd get it more.

ps, i thought the 3rd one's ears were down because he's upset, kinda like dogs when they lay their ears down.

I voted for the 'Lick this' but that was the only part that kept me from buying it. If this one wins I will def pick it up. Has my vote.

LOL....only 4 designs in the fog? I am just a noob, so that was before my time...let me go ask my granny about what it was like way back then.

Thanks for the comment, it remind me that titles are noticed.

Re: Italian Counting

This is not meant to be snarky (and I have the same curiosity about at least half the entries), but what about this shirt makes it 'vintage' other than maybe the mild distressing? Or is distressing all that is required?

I like how this looks on the shirt. Could be better without the text though, or at least different text, the joke is really not a funny as you might think.

Is this a Fellowship of the Sun (True Blood) reference? Or am I totally missing something?

You see, my goal here, is simply a t-shirt collection to rival that of Dr. Sheldon Cooper.

Don't know who that is? You should be ashamed of yourselves.

R3DS74R wrote:This is great. Big cynicism fan. Only problem is the "or" seems not quite to be in line with the rest of the text - it seems like it's a tad too high.

Hardly a dealbreaker, but it keeps it from being 100% perfect.

Back then people laid out the type by hand using press on letters and it wasn't ever perfect, I think this was intentional to make it look old school.

As the other poster mentioned "Bloc Stacks You" would have been better (you would have that one dumb friend say 'huh?' and then everyone could laugh at them), but it's still an awesome shirt. It's got the lowbrow/highbrow thing going - wish more shirts would run this play.

The colors and the wrapping of the lines within the shapes scream '70s to me. I'd say it's fine.

Edit: I am, however, a little concerned about where the shapes farthest left and farthest right will land on me.

jel2301 wrote:That's true, but that wasn't Jestik's point. Woot specifically avoids printing shirts that are similar to shirts they've already printed. Had that shirt been from another site, there'd be no issue, but since it was a shirt.woot shirt, it's called into question. Whether this is similar enough will be determined by the Rejectorator.

If that was really true then we wouldn't have to suffer through so many bunny and Mario shirts!

Thanks for the compliment on the artwork.

Also, I know some people don't care much for the song, but that goes for most 80's-whatever. The reason people go for 80's isn't for the awesome hair cuts or fantastic outfits *cough*, but the nostalgia. And, I think, even outside of the context of the song, it's still a very wearable shirt.

Thanks again.
