Re: Every Legend has a begining...
I feel like this needs some serious Thundercats action in the background or something. Hahahaha. (it doesn't actually need it....that would be gross)
Re: Curling Adventure! New from Smacktivision!
This is great -- reminds me of a shirt you would see in the movie adventure land or something.
This seems to be made of pure awesome!!!
I really like that you use creme pretty frequently. It looks good.
And I love this design. GMV.
cmdixon2 wrote:You're just awesome, walmazan.
What he said.
Seriously, this is great. That backround is especially mind blowing. There's a lot of depth there and it shows true talent that you can do something like that without using gradients. Just awesome
cakeninjak wrote:Why are the ears suddenly so low on the one with the speech bubble? I would understand if its head were upturned, but the face is still positioned as if the monkey was looking straight forward.
Yeah, the face should be higher, as if the monkey's looking up to the sky.
Re: Rap Attack
Needs more giant clock chains.
Re: Cool Beans
That font looks really familiar...
Re: Ask Mr. Owl
I really liked this one in the first derby! I'm kinda sad to see it go orange, but It does look great Best of luck in this derby!!
Re: Page Me!
Woah. I hope you didn't actually page Jenny with that number. Her number is 867-5309.
I remember that game. Man it was hard. The gators would bite off your broom if you weren't careful : )
parrotworks wrote:I really like this but would love to see the face created in simple broken/missing panels. Great job.
I agree. If they could pull of the teeth nicely, this would be an excellent design.
Re: Think of the Children
you picked a good year boots!
Re: I hate Grues
ahh..the days of text games and graph paper, and darkness..and eaten by a grue
imsochady wrote:With messed up proportions, this is bound to be found at Goodwill! hahaha
(Sorry, can't find a better way to incorporate the celtic knot )
Heh. Wow... that horn... ;)
Re: See evil, Hear evil, Speak evil
I didn't know this was yours until I looked at the name, I find the monkeys to be drawn quite differently than your usual stuff. And I enjoy the inverse of the joke
People will disagree with me. They'll tell me I have horrible taste. They'll say this is the same 'ol same 'ol. They'll hate on you. Some will be constructive, others will be rude. But oh well, you're all just people in a computer to me, haha (and I mean that in the NICEST way possible because I am not a hater =D HAPPYTHOUGHTSOFJOY)
I enjoy this, Ramy!
One tiny stitch i have with it is that I agree with the people commenting on the ears on monkey #3. I think this would improve a lot with a quick fix and a resub. Just my 2 cents =)
BootsBoots wrote:Then you just ask them if they have a problem with helping children or Africa. That will confuse them and they'll have to shut up.
You're a genius.
Re: Emo Rebuttal
I'LL DO IT IF I WANT, DAMMIT!
Re: Rock and Roll
Now I've got the Katamari theme song stuck in my head.
Re: Two Smokin' Barrels
She reminds me of that Esurance girl.
I'm in love. Will wear, when this inevitably takes 1st. Good job!
TheLarrikin wrote: Heh. Wow... that horn... ;)
It will pierce the sky.
Wow, I wasn't expecting to like any shirts, but this one made me laugh aloud.
Is that a distressed font, or did you distress the text yourself? It really doesn't match the weight of the distress in the design - but maybe that's just me.
Re: The Car of the Future
The way you have drawn this, it looks like the car is making a really fast left turn, but the wheels are pointing to the right. O_O
I know this car can travel through the future, but I didn't know it was that magical.
Re: Post Apocalyptic Wining
TheLarrikin wrote:Is that a distressed font, or did you distress the text yourself? It really doesn't match the weight of the distress in the design - but maybe that's just me.
I distressed it. I took some of the distressing out of the design because it looked like they were both splattered with blood.
Re: 5 1/4 RULES!!!
I miss my C64
Re: I got mooned!
i love this shirt! hope i get to wear it!
neonix wrote:This is funny, and a cool design (gotta love robots) but I'd feel like a liar because I didn't draw all that stuff on myself. :/
Yeah, I can see that. But you know there's nothing to stop you from adding your own touch to it. I think it could handle more doodles and then it would be your own.
Re: You Can Be My Wingman
I'm afraid even vintage transformer toys had the registered trademarks indicated on them.
Awesome! I'd love to hear the noises coming from kittytron... I think it would be kind of adorable, hehe.
I loved those games!
ahaha i cannot wait to own this shirt
JordanTG wrote:That font looks really familiar...
its a font based on the coca cola font. is that ok?
bluchez wrote:I'm afraid even vintage transformer toys had the registered trademarks indicated on them.
yea, pretty sure this breaks copyright, otherwise I like it
capedcrusader514 wrote:Love the colors. I'm so pumped for the colors in this derby
I feel the same -- there's some nice retro combos out there.
itstak wrote:LOL! An Activsion shirt! Classic! I sure hope this prints.
Activision? What's that?
BootsBoots wrote:The colors! The colors! So good!
Thank you kindly.
Draug wrote:lmao I love it!
Hopefully it won't meet the same end as ET for Atari.
The same end? You mean the PHOTOREALISTIC black and white picture of ET at the end?
itstak wrote:I can't stress enough how badly I want this shirt. This shirt not printing would be a crime against humanity. Or at least a crime against people who love awesome shirts!
No argument here!
AdderXYU wrote:sick as it is, there is an outside chance I would buy this if it won.
Sick? Are you on the Olympic committee?

Lagbert wrote:I remember that game. Man it was hard. The gators would bite off your broom if you weren't careful : )
Yeah, and the scorpions would crawl UP your broom and sting your face. I hate that part.
Re: Disco Owl
JesseBYAH wrote:HAHAHA! I love this! Well, I always love your stuff, but this... this is extra awesome =) Not your normal style of owl but I'm sure jabber will still be ecstatic! Very cute and fun, gmv =)
:D Thanks JesseByah! Haha hopefully he will when he sees it... it's also kind of weird not to see an owl's eyes, as I realized during the process! Thanks very much!=)
This is straight-up hilarious, and totally in the spirit of what this derby theme is all about.
GMV - although I look really, really awful in yellow, so I don't think I'll be purchasing. But I adore the design.
This seriously needs to get in the fog, stay there, and print. I'd be in for like, three of these.
