If there were more flying creatures / animals then it would be very Miyazaki-ish.

To all my fellow t-shirt lovers: Don't forget about Threadless's 10 anniversary entire site $10 sale :D :D :D

Odds are, I probably already bought today's Shirt Woot... hahaha. I <3 Threadless :D If you need discounts for TL, just PM me! I AM NOT AFFILIATED WITH THREADLESS, I DO NOT WORK FOR THEM, I DO NOT REALLY CARE ABOUT THEM. I JUST LIKE GOOD LOOKING DESIGNER SHIRTS AND I LIKE PAYING GOOD PRICES !!!

i love how the drawing and coloring has a vaguely graffiti/cartoon style. it is very in sync with the band and their general vibe.

great job, both of you!

Not really; they were a one-hit wonder (in the mainstream pop market) with "What I Got" (Reprise or Remix, even).

But with the reference to the Harry Nilsson song, it's obvious woot! wanted to cover the range from the Sub-lime to the ridiculous.

Except, you know, "Wrong Way" and "Santeria" and the other hits they had before the lead singer died.

In the town
Where I was born
There’s a fruuuit
Comes from a treee
And it’s souuur
And it’s greeen
And with tequila
It’s quite keen

Ocean limes are just the best, you see
Just the best, you see
Just the best, you see
Ocean limes are just the best, you see
Just the best, you see
Just the best, you see

Because saaalt
Is all around
It helps all the shots
Going down
And the fiiiish
Are flavored well
They’ve all gottt that
Tex-Mex-y smell

Ocean limes are just the best, you see
Just the best, you see
Just the best, you see
Ocean limes are just the best, you see
Just the best, you see
Just the best, you see

Ocean limes are just the best, you see

Subs are very buoyant too, it's when you add water to the tanks that it actually dives.

It would be interesting to see oceanic pressure crush a lime. All the juice would be squeezed out of the flesh.
It would freshen up its crew with a light and citrusy surprise... Right before killing them all.

Great shirt. Mine's on the way.

The overplay of the band drives me nuts, but the shirt works on other levels and just plain looks amazing.

Everyone knows that limes float... That is why Mitch Hedberg would've been saved by the buoyancy of citrus...

Am I the only one who saw this and thought, "Hey, that's a neat way to depict the phase change dry ice undergoes to turn into CO2 vapor!"? Anybody? No? Ah, well, I guess I'm in for one for the wrong reasons, but in for one nonetheless.

It's from this small British band you may have heard of... The Beatles... they had this album/movie called Yellow Submarine.

Oh God... I'm so old...

I also associate the word sublime as one of its dictionary meanings, and not a band. Sorry sublime the band, you're not that popular. I like the shirt, and will proudly exclaim to those who ask what it is, "It's sublime!"

To quote the late Mitch Hedberg:
"Look at the limes, how they float. That's good news. Next time I'm on a boat and it capsizes, I will reach for a lime. Like I'll be water-skiing without a life preserver, people will say "What the ****?" and I will pull out a lime. I'm saved by the buoyancy of citrus."

was this message originally posted in 1997? if not, where in the world are you that has this band still being over-played?!

*gasp*: or am i sending a reply to the '90s version of marty mcfly? that would be totally rad...perhaps even sublime. >=b

The state of rock radio in Dallas is so sad that Sublime is indeed still overplayed. You can't go an hour without hearing The Wrong Way or Santeria. Immediately followed by Nirvana.

This shirt is one day old,
In 5 more it could be yours,
Nobody ever wore it quite the wrong way
Beefmoe don't be afraid
With the quickness you'll get paid
For this shirt is limonade
Not in the wrong way

Great shirt, great band.
