OMGWTFBBQ....will they want cursive next?

Let's not encourage this generation to write like this. Please.

I'm eagerly anticipating the sequel to this shirt - texting in cursive.

1) How do you practice your texting by writing them out? When you're texting, you're pushing keys not writing, no one ever writes 'lol'!

2) Why are all the lines different lengths? What kind of paper is this that the lines don't match up?

3) Why does only 'lol' have the 'how-to-draw' part? Are 'waffles? they're fine' and 'Omelets made great' not good enough for this artist or was the artist just too lazy?

This shirt is just way too boring and pointless for me.

Is this the state of the public school system? It's sort of a low-tech way to say your school is high tech.

I always liked doing the cursive sheets more.

Does anyone else find it ironic that Woot has a shirt for sale in which 2 or the 3 acronyms on it will be filtered in the chat?

I take offense to being called "that kid". I expanded the vocabulary of possibly hundreds of children in possibly 1/180 of the time it takes the public education system to do with other words in a whole school year.

In case you're wondering why I still remember the manufacturer's name, I frequently got Cs in Handwriting, which, clearly, has left an indelible mark on my psyche.

I must admit I'm not much of a fan of this one. People (young or not) have a hard enough time spelling and speaking properly as it is.

Although I probably should not take it so seriously, I cannot help it.

Penmanship for texters 101?

Maybe it's just me, but does anyone else still want to write on this paper with the dashed line? My penmanship would reflect this, I bet.

I think it could be used as a mood-indicator. Just have a sticker next to the line that best describes how you're feeling!

In my day, after walking to school uphill both ways, we got to practice this stuff on gray paper the consistency of newsprint.

I never wear white shirts, but if this'd been gray, I'd have been sorely tempted...

I too think that there should be keypresses, like [5][5][5] [6][6][6] [5][5][5]. On another note, based on the "o", I take it these are instructions for left-handers?

I really want kids to grow up learning more elaborate ways to say rude things to each other, though admittedly, I do love DIAF.

I think that style looks fine, though that lowercase k should DIAF.

Not in any of the schools I've been in. But it's def more rad when the teachers speak it tho.

YES!! I remember that gray paper well. And you couldn't apply ANY pressure with your pencil because the paper would rip, and you'd end up putting a pencil mark on the desk.

I concur. I would pick this up in a heartbeat if it were cursive and/or gray.

For some time I was thinking there should be a fourth line with the acronym BBQ, but realized that a LOLOMGWTFBBQ is a bit too intense for most.
