Sorry, cool design, but the squid vs. whale thing has kind of been done and done and overdone.

I really love this art style from you. The characters and colors are great.

It makes me sad for absent friends though......

Poor Piggy. I like the shade of purplish pink you used. It's a nice slight deviation from the regular pink pig.

Note that these two are not competitors here, but a couple of old friends, both businessmen, talking business. This is not Dracula vs. Frankenstein, but Drak and Frank, glad to see each other.

I just had a very fun time putting word's into the whale's mouth. HAHAHAH! He looks most displeased with his situation... But then again, it's never fun to be harpooned in the booty.

Nice, Boots!!

mrwednesday wrote:I really like the design and the colors but the tail fin on Moby not Jane is really throwing it off for me. It has that wispy fish tail look to it that really doesn't mesh with being a whale.

Yeah there is just something about the tail that looks off, but over all my fav entry so far.

Re: 20,000 Leagues / Moby not Jane Mashup

Oh wow I can't believe I didn't think to look up similar designs. I now definitely see it's a pretty popular topic. I guess the whole "Classical Literature" stance kind of made me see the design in that light rather than the actual subjects depicted. Oh well.

Re: alice's adventures in wonderland/Land of Oz

For some reason none of the images were showing in the thread when I was looking earlier (awesome work fire wall) so I had no idea what it would look like and was not expecting the muted color choices, but I love it. Very fitting and reminds me of the older illustrations found in the more rare editions of classic literature.

I want to wear it now!
