Re: Ask Again Later
Awesome!
thebaldwinboy wrote:the taco makes this.
Thanks! I have a lab, so that was the easiest one to do. The taco was the second. Actually, come to think of it they're basically in the order I thought them up. Except the Dalmatian (thanks Jabberjaw!). There used to be a pug in there, but he kind of sucked. A silhouette of a pug is not a thing of beauty.
Re: Time Warping...Results May Vary
Isn't figure usually abbreviated fig., not fi.?

Yes, I'm afraid humanity has peaked. :p
Re: The Sound Barrier
This shirt is all sorts of sweet! I'd get this in a heartbeat! Awesome job!
it's very cute... i quite like it. but! shouldn't there be a gap in the rain right below his umbrella?
Re: The Secret to Clouds
I saw this in the design thread earlier but didn't have time to comment. Very, very cute Bellariffic. And great use of soft colors. +1!

Re: How Firecrackers Work: Too Early???
Chady's back! And with my favorite design of your's I've ever seen. Awesome. GMV!
I posted this in the derby discussion thread, but since the derby's open now I'll post it here. The anvil should be falling onto the other side of the seesaw. As it is it looks as if it would just make the rope slack.
Draug wrote:I thought the left step came first...It's hard to tell in the first figure if he's stepping left or right. The arrow is indicating right...
Ah, you made the mistake of assuming that the little figure is turned the same way the shirt is. He has no facial features, so he's obviously turned with his back facing the front of the shirt. =P (Really, how can you tell which way those people are facing?!) And for anyone who has never done the timewarp... It's just a jump to the left. And then a step to the right. Put your hands on your hips. You bring your knees in tight. But it's the pelvic thrust That really drives you insane. ;)
jeanerz13 wrote:Isn't figure usually abbreviated fig., not fi.?
I have seen it both ways, and I was actually having a hard time deciding which one to go with
Re: as the world turns
Very nice illo'. Good colors!
geekygirly wrote:it's very cute... i quite like it. but! shouldn't there be a gap in the rain right below his umbrella?
You're right, there should be, but I liked the continuation of the rain pattern. Thanks!
This is epic win. Love it. GMV.

This shirt depicts the story so far and helpfully anticipates what's coming next! Guest starring DJ Roomba. :-p Just for using that parks and rec's reference you're getting my vote. Re: How rain works!
Nice colors and design, it's hard to make gray work (I find) but this looks great on the shirt. :^)

This is a great design. I'm not sure I like the text, but the art is wonderful.

I definitely see your point, though it'll still pull the rope down just not as much as if it pulled the rope up. Compositionally though, I had to place it where I did or the bottom two rows wouldnt line up properly and would get messy. I appreciate the feedback very much, thank you.
Thanks SG, I had fun drawing this.
Re: Jeeves 3000
Superb illustration! I saw this on emptees a while back, I'm surprised it didn't print already. :^)

It seems like some pens never run out of ink... I have discovered why.

Yeah the idea is that these are HOW to do the time warp provided with all the general problematic issues that one would generally have with instructional diagrams, but yes, i did make it with the person facing way.
Re: How Natural Selection Works
LOVE the conmcept. Not so wearable for me, but I bet lots of folks are gonna love this.
Draug wrote:Paw Pad Lovers Club!
Seriously... I thought paw pads were cute on cats. On kittens? It's a whole new level of teeny cuteness.

Every single time!
vzfamily wrote:LOVE it! I voted! I hope it gets printed. Both of my daughters would LOVE one. 2 of our 3 cats are white and grey!
Thanks vzfamily, and awwww. The kitten this is modeled after is actually black and white, but grey worked better for the design - and for you too apparently
Spiritgreen wrote:Dawwwww. +1. It even works in shirt form. ::fuzzies::

fantastic concept +1
Lol! DJ Roomba! Great shirt, funny reference just thrown in there, nice...
Re: How a Kitten Works
I can deal with cuteness for the sake of mockery. Yes, that works. And BTW - I think this works for puppies, too!

Ah well then, it's alright. :D
Cool man. I like the feel of this one.
So that's it! Hey, can I get the address to send these guys all the #$@#! packing peanuts stuff I order comes packed in? (Has no one heard of paper - biodegradeable - or plastic pillows - recyclable?)
