but seriously, someone needs to tell me what that waveform sounds like.

nottafinga wrote:If you want to be really precise about it, there are no concentric circles on a vinyl record, only one groove that the needle follows from beginning the end. I don't think you COULD show a groove on the moon; it would be impossible to get that kind of detail printed on the shirt.

The circles here merely suggest different tracks on a record. Again, to be precise, the ABSENSE of lines should show the interval between tracks, not lines themselves.

That all being said, I'm willing to overlook these issues with the shirt and chalk it up to the artist's freedom of expression. I know what she was trying to convey and I love the shirt, so much that I'm in for one.

You got it! I intended the moon to be a visual representation of a record not an exact replica of it. I mean there are waveforms as trees and notes as birds right. And the artist is a he not a she haha.

Oops! I interepreted the "Woot Creator" writeup wrong. I saw "...if you don’t buy this shirt, you’re condemning her to a life of poverty..." as referring to the creator, not his daughter. :-)

Haha I would've wanted to tell you it sounds like some perfect song that would go with the graphic but to be honest, I just tweaked a random waveform to create the trees. And if it ever played it would probably sound like some sort random mashup of the beatles, beethoven, metallica, and britney spears! haha

I like it but how am I, Dwight Schrute, to wear it without wolves howling at these vinyl/sin waves moon?

Suck it, Trebek.

I didn't even notice the waveform trees at first. I do really love the design. If only it wasn't sold out! I waited too long today.

It figures... Finally a shirt I really like, and its sold out before I get home from work.

Come on Woot, bring Nature's Harmony back soon. You know they'll move...

Is it possible to get a shirt after it's been reckoned away? Or does that mean sold out forever?
I wore my Deep Blue Space shirt to a kayak race over the weekend and now everyone wants one!

I'm disappointed, I purchased one earlier today at work and it said they reserved one for me and that it was working on my transaction that it could take up to 20 or 30 minutes and to check my account later. I left work early and just logged on and I don't see it listed as purchased in my account. Come on woot, what's up with that?

Reckoned means sold out forever, yes. If you want to try to find Deep Blue Space or any reckoned shirt, I recommend keeping an eye on teetrade.org for the style and whatever sizes you want.

It's a bit bittersweet that the best sellout in a while is a collision theory. But as far as woot goes, I guess I really can't complain. One small step for kicking out nevermore. Possibly.

Sizing questions I have:

1. Why are no sleeve measurements listed for women's and children's sizes? Are they all sleeveless? Do they share a single sleeve size, and if so, what is it? The reason I'm wondering is that I got my first Woot shirt this week, a men's small, and it's a little longer than I'd like. The women's sizes are slightly shorter, but I wouldn't want it to be sleeveless.

2. Is this a question. (The punctuation makes it paradoxical.)

3. There is no question 3.

quality posts: 7 Private Messages Slickpappy

None of our shirts are sleeveless, maybe in the future, but not now. The sleeve length for WS is 6", WM and WL is 6-1/2", and WXL is 7". Please write us at service@woot.com if you have anymore questions, we will be happy to assist you.

Just got mine, and I LOVE it. Except for one little problem. The design was printed off center. In fact, quite a bit off center. The design on the left is about 4" from the side seam, where on the right it is double that. It looks really odd with the right 'ahem' side of my chest covered by the design and the left side only has a few dots.
Beautiful design nonetheless.

Anyone care to post a pic of the shirt as received? I'm wondering how well the shirt inks stand out from the background. On the fence on buying this and don't want to drop $15 on a shirt that'll fade out after a few washes.

Thanks!

I ordered this shirt on May 3rd, and it has apparently been "shipped out" since May 4th, though FedEx still has yet to receive it. Is this normal, or has something gone horribly wrong?
