Agreed. MORE PINK PLEASE IN GENERAL. Still GMV, though!

I think this would be better without the sky. The amorphous patch of color isn't really working for me.

Re: A walk on the spring clouds

I really do like it, but it would have been nicer with a touch less clouds and plants and a bit more animals.

A late entry from my brother, Jedigreedo, & me. Was originally gonna sit out this week, then my brother got the idea you see before you. Despite lack of time, I couldn't let it go. So, as they say, better late than never. Idea & design concept goes to my brother, art by me.

Feedback, comments, & criticism are always appreciated.

And, a LINK to a larger version for you crazy cats that like that sort of thing.

Thanks! :3

This is beautiful! I love the still somber, mood while the flowers are blooming around her. Still trying to shake off that underworld chill, it seems. GMV!

Re: The Very Hungry Robin (on Creme)

I thought some people might be holding back their votes due to the fact the other design is on heather grey and it is so reviled... so here's the design on creme...

Re: The Californian Spring

I'm not sure there is enough here to really grab people and make them want to vote for it. But it's so nice to see a different look as spring. I was just thinking the other day that spring in the west, in the deserts, etc., is so different from what I know.

Re: Face Of Spring

This is so intereseting. I love how the birds form the eyes and nose. The color palette gives me more of a summery feel, than spring, but I won't quibble. I do wish I could see a larger version to catch the detail, though.

theWanker wrote:I had to look that one up. I'd honestly never even heard of it before. Got to add it to Netflix, though, since bear armies just sound awesome.

My idea was to make an army of bears that behaved like an ant colony.

Maybe in some alternate universe where the meteor never hit and dinosaurs never died, bears-ants would be the scavengers cleaning up after T-Rexes finish off dinner.

They aren't bears, strictly speaking. They're cannibalistic humans who dress as bears to confuse and frighten their victims. I'm just sayin'. It was a great film handled badly. Chrichton should get a do-over. Still, it's a good watch, with lots of action and a good dose of comedy.

I like to make suggestions I hope will help the artist improve his or her craft. But I got nothin'. This is just perfect.

kushalm wrote:What is the size of your print area? As far as I know it's supposed to be 16 x 20 inches which from the woot template is smaller than what is on your shirt comp. Am I doing something wrong? Coz, I'd love to get the extra print space. Nice design BTW, I kinda agree with the whole rectangular argument though, I'd much rather a shapeless design

The design is set up for a 16 x 20" area. My shirt comp is a little off, but the scale is accurate.

Thanks for all the feedback folks, I've been playing around with using the entire shirt area on the last couple derbies, but now the people have spoken. More empty space, and more movement in the design.
