Nice placement, we don't get too many top right shirts.

Insert your own missing letters for the more dirty-minded among us :P

It's a cute design but there's so much backlash against bunnies these days I wonder if it'll make it to the fog.

Yeah, I was torn on that. Considering 90% of the world calls it football, I went with the majority. Also, IDF looks cooler than IDS.

the nice thing about this is it's not strictly a sports tee.

I feel that the most successful tees this go-around will take an approach like this and make something that is really not soccer-centric while still being on theme. Not that "successful tees" is the same as "successful derby entries".

That's because bunnies are the evil spawn of satan.

Good question. I was trying for a Rule of Thirds sort of a composition.

(Real Reason: I recently acquired a blazer and I am trying to design t-shirts that would look good with it.)

this is so gorgeous. And then the soccerball comes in.

I fear I can't vote for this because I'm hoping it gets printed without that damned thematic element.

OTOH, if all your team tees are dirty, you could wear this to all of them in a pinch.

vipre01 wrote:Pretty sure that isn't a soccer lineup.

Intergalactic Cup is, presumably, like soccer but different.

This works because its abstraction allows it to be wearable by anyone who doesn't feel the need for people to "get" their clothes. In the derby, it's a clear nod to "play charts". Outside the derby, it's wearable and no one has to think "wow, why the hell are you wearing a shirt about soccer aliens?"

THIS!

I will say, the piece would still work without the 'translation' across the bottom so it could work for more than just one sport (even with the kid holding a soccer ball)

This really is rendered wonderfully. Not sold on the placement, tho. Or the being-a-shirt-about-space-soccer. But that last part isn't really your fault.

Re: Intergalactic Deathmatch Football

Wow! Some really good choices here dude... parody of american sports logos, the saturn ring implying the intergalactic, the sci fi death kill spiked ball, with muted colors and a yellowing white. elegant design... has so much incorporated on theme without being too busy. GMV for sure, but I can't decide if the logo is too big on the shirt.

Re: Sir Jugglefoot

Sir Jugglefoot lives...

And yes, those are his feet. His arm are actually located on his head. They are arc back to ensure he doesn't break the no hands rule. Don't question Sir Jugglefoot; he is a professional.

Truth be told, the early years of the Intergalactic Cup sucked. The rocket hadn't been built and the wireless connection was extremely limiting.

Ended up looking ugly I guess because his head is tilted back a little, so facial features get squashed. I can post larger versions if you'd like?

Yeah, that's why I'm on the fence about this one. I think the art is superb, I love the character design, the hatching andthe color choices. It's just that wearing a shirt with something cheering for a sport seems kind of corny to me. I don't know, if it prints I may buy it just to support good work actually winning.

Re: Mind Games

hahah very nice. I was thinking about this last night... in space, would they really need feet? then I thought about aliens with a lot of feet having an advantage... until they squared off against another species that used their mind. I like how this also has a trophy like quality to it. well thought out, and wonderfully executed.
