Day so far.
Mail comes.
Cell phone bill is crazy high.
It claims I only paid $20.36 last month.
I find the check. Written for $201.36. Call bank. It cleared for $20.36.
So someone forgot to key in the 1.
Who? Verizon or the bank?
Call Verizon. Get the late charge taken off. Still not happy that it is out there as a unpaid bill.
Proves hubbies statement, that nobody reads the checks. He signs the kids checks all the time. He said less than a second is spent on each check at the bank.

TT, the world is after our credit rating!

That's just...yikes.

Yup - assessing the, uh, well. Whatever goes on in there.

During my check-up two weeks ago, he said the MRI "may come back negative after all" (and don't ask me what negative would mean versus positive, because I really am totally clueless).

I hope that he will still decide to do the surgery even if it is "negative," because it sounds as though the surgery will fix the tissue damage and stuff. (Again, I don't know what I'm talking about.)

negative generally means nothing bad; positive means something's going on that needs more checking.

Don't know if you got your answer, Poof, but my daughter is WAY into these Silly Bandz! I think the Silly Bandz are the originals that the kids all became crazy over. Once other companies started seeing the craze, they started making their own, hence a different name!

Now that I'm caught up...

1)Sending HUGE good luck wishes to KtC and Orc!!! Oh, I so hope he gets it!!!

2) YAY for a new person (taternuggets?)! I'm not a noob anymore!!!! :D

3) Pember - I hope everything turns out ok and they can fix whatever needs to be fixed! With the verizon thing - if you look on your actual check (if possible) and see what is written in the "written out" line. Banks are supposed to, by law, go by this line as opposed to the number box ($201.36) when making deposits/charges. I wonder if that is the case?

4) TT - The president is in this ploy to make the world catholic? And people at Costco found this out before the media? That's funny!

It was some wacko group putting flyers on windshields.
Not inside the store.
It is from some disgruntled "real Christian" group. The government is after them. I'm guessing if I google the group, they owe taxes or something like that.

The verizon thing was me, the check was written out correctly.

Written by Tony Alamo:

GOD’S legal marriage age is puberty, and it is legal to have two or more wives if you can support them and the children that evolve from the marriage. These demonic spirits have entered politicians who are forbidding marriage based on a false, or fake, economic system with their lies, saying there is not enough food or water to provide such necessities for the increasing population to exist. They are playing GOD by saying they must control population, when GOD commands, "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth” (Gen. 1:28).

Not really a lot of cults here.
Lots of disgruntled Catholics. Maybe that is who they were targeting.

I also wonder about a guy's car I pass walking the dog. It has a In case of Rapture, this vehicle will be empty, bumpersticker.
As I understand it, 144,000 people in the entire world will be ruptured. I'm thinking if you are vain enough to think you are one of the 144 thousand best people on the entire planet....you aren't.

Also, since Jesus was asked about when the second coming will come, and he said, Only the Father knows the hour and the day"

Churches are tax exempt, which is why a lot of nutjobs create "churches" especially around here (southwest Missouri) but I see his address is Texarkana.

I'm actually in a class right now that is studying cults and this is one of our cults we're covering. Do you mind if I share your story? Long Island is a hell of a long way from Joplin, Missouri, so people are still spreading his nastiness all over, even though he's in prison.

Well, yeah, we all know the population now is the same as when the bible was written.
