This is very cool! I kind of wish it wasnt on lemon, but it's a great illustration. I could see the band chosing this for sure!

I just want to mention that this is one of the best designs I have ever seen in a woot derby.
Is this a self portrait? I just noticed that she kind of looks like your profile picture.

paigeg wrote:... I'm pretty sure the placement on this could use a little tweaking. The design is pretty darned big. You might want to shrink it down a bit. I like the diagonal orientation.

Well, its my first ever; I didn't want to make it too small nor too big to give the idea of being a portable device but the idea was to let you annoyingly invite all your "face friends" to "push your buttons" and lay eggs for you, etc. ...i.e. a total waste of time.
I agree ... it could use tweaking ... maybe even text like, "Help me devolve by pushing my buttons "

Re: Atomic Sugar Domes

@Spiritgreen- Yes, I love that design, one of my favorites from you. I was browsing through old retro cereal boxes on the internet and came up with this idea. Great minds do think alike.

@JesseBYAH
Thanks everyone!
@fishbiscuit5-Yes it would be a great derby theme!

isn't the energy dome considered a logo?
that was part of the zip file....it never said in the rules that you had to put the name DEVO on it......besides, I was hoping that if mine was picked they could/would slap the name DEVO on one of the sleeves...

No No, this is brilliant! Very much like the old T-Shirts with the photo realistic potatos.

Holy something-or-other, I love this. You look at this and you can't help but want to know more about it. I think that has huge appeal as a t-shirt.

Here's hoping for a win!

It's time for About This Shirt!

It is interesting how, as progressed as humans, and developed our abilities and technologies, we've gone from looking out, away, and ahead, to looking at a 26-inch screen a foot from our faces.

We know more about the world, and we have access to all sorts of information, but the technology and progress making our understanding of the world greater is making our actual experience of it very narrow.

We've made amazing progress, and meanwhile our perspective has shifted. Where we once had a direct interaction with life's events, now we access and experience them by proxy.

LOVE. IT.

This is a shirt I would definitely get for my kid to wear. Which sucks, because part of me wants this image hanging in my living room instead of getting splattered with mud on the playground. Amazing work!

This is awesome. This is my first comment on the forums here, and since people were knocking the potatos, just wanted to let you know that's the part that won me over. Unlike some of the other entries, it's immediately obvious you're a fan of the band also, love it and I can't wait to own one.

I totally agree! We are Geocachers and love our GPS but are amazed when people depend on them to the point of ridiculousness. Thanks for the link to the article! I would totally buy this shirt for my wife, me, my daughters, son in laws and my geocaching friends.

I spelled out "DEVO" in red power domes. It was from an earlier version (pre-submission). I wasn't sure whether it worked or not and decided to remove it at the last minute and show the close up of the center instead -- but forgot to take it off the shirt mock-up.
