Re: Read The Whole Book!

Love it. I need a good shirt (or two or three) to wear to watch Shakespeare's Skum (http://comedyindc.com/skum.htm) this year... hoping this might be one of them ^_^

Thanks! Your signature is adorable!

What does iron water do to white? Now I have to research that. I always disregarded the "i can't wear white because I spill stuff on myself" comments because that's what bleach is for. But I'm not familiar with the iron-water issue...

Agreed Shakespeare, agreed. I can proudly say I've never read one of those things. If you're going to go to the trouble of reading anything, why not make it the real thing?

I didn't catch it at first, but Billy looks a whole lot like the HS English teacher who taught be to appreciate Shakespeare. And he was a pretty tightly-wound, testy kinda guy. NOW I get why. Lol!
And no, I never used Cliff's Notes. Sadly, more because I never heard of them than from moral fortitude.

Cute, clean style, but I think the design is awfully large on the shirt. And where's the Cheez?

Awesome! Love it, GMV.

Though, I will say I am getting a tad bit tired of the charcoal shirts... but I will buy this shirt when it prints and add it to my charcoal collection.

Like the eclectic composition of a classic weenie, this is also a mash-up: a bit Titus Andronicus, lots of Hamlet, and some sneakers. And pig lips.

6 colors on royal blue.

Maybe I'm seeing things, but I think there is an extra color on the bun outside of the spot colors on your comp. I'm probably wrong.

Re: Know your bard.

Can't read the statement that begins "Shakespeare w..." on the right side of the image. It looks like the rose extends from the end of the sentence. Can't see it in the full t-shirt representation either. What does it say?

Azurett wrote:you can't really tell it's about Shakespeare from looking at the shirt.

Well, it's Shakespearean-inspired, which is what was asked for. If they'd specified an identifiable illustration of a recognisable scene from a play, that would have excluded the sonnets. And they didn't specify that baldy blokes in ruffs were essential, either - so I think I'm reasonably on topic with this. Thanks for your concern!

I'm amazed to see this, and its counterpart, with so many votes, as both strike me as being very close to breaking the "No Text-Only Designs" rule.

Re: Read The Whole Book!

Shakespeare wrote PLAYS, not books! It's all well and good to tout having a real and thorough Shakespeare experience, but you won't get that reading the script.
