My guess is Ophelia, as she looks like she's falling into water

This has got to be the funniest and my favorite submission in this derby thus far. I can completely understand Shakespeare's reasoning. Alas, I have fallen to reading SparkNotes but not until after reading his actual plays. (Just for some clarity)

Re: Midsummer Mischief

Can't say I've ever had the pleasure of reading A Midsummer Night's Dream, but I do love the whimsical style of your design. ^^

The silhouette sorta reminds me of Count Olaf from Lemony Snicket's "A Series of Unfortunate Events". But maybe that's just me.

megsck wrote:this is beautiful, but i think it would make a better print than a shirt. im not a huge fan of huge slabs of ink on shirts. this would be better, to me, if it didnt have the background. lovely illustration though! =)

For this reason it would be nice to see it done on a navy blue shirt, where all the blue in your design now is replaced with the shirt color.

Re: Our Bodies Are Our Gardens

This makes for an excellent shirt and I love almost everything about it, except for the light source. It's (presumably) outdoors, so there's a singular light source - the sun. However, the highlights and shadows don't seem to gel all that well. It is the shadows to the right of the hedge maze that first stuck out in my mind, without intentionally seeking to analyze them.

I look forward to your artwork every week. You mix it up so well and don't rely on the the same style over and over to get your wins. Another great piece.

You two did an exquisite job yet again. Really fantastic and I love that it's on a blue shirt. It just makes it nice and kinda moody.

Cute design, but on my screen the shirt looks pink. Is it cream?

Thanks guys. I actually pictured a much more epic battle in my head, but things get surprisingly cluttered with battling text. Sadly I would probably need Peter Jackson and a crew of CG artists to do the true war justice.

It's cream. This is the exact shade of cream that Woot supplies in their template, but the inclusion of those other pink-ish ink colors makes it feel like it leans that way visually.

Thanks for the comments so far guys, I had a lot of fun making this one. Bacon is a blast to draw!

LOL, I am the right side and my fiance is the left side! Also I've just proven myself a lost cause by using LOL in the previous sentence...

At least I don't use the word 'epic' to describe fairly everyday occurances.
