This shirt is just so positive, I love it!

I also would love to obtain one of those neat-o Devo hats! They seem to be a cure for the depressions.

I like this shirt. For the life of me I can't figure out why.

There's something so convincing about this chimp. Anything he says is "quite good" just must be so.

This is just a solid shirt. The pen-and-ink monkey drawing and the texture on the hat just work really well together. Nice job, kaseyfleming!

I agree! Though it depicts De-evolution, it simultaneously depicts the event in time where primates obtained the ability to speak. Survival of the fittest, baby!

With that said, in my ignorance, I think this shirt is wholly balderee and would probably not wear it.

Can someone attempt to explain how this shirt is clever in any way so that I may revoke my negative opinion?

It's making the general point that devo has always made.

I think it's a fantastic shirt, and I'd be buying it... except that's playing their game, isn't it?

But... does it scream and fly?...

the design is well drawn yet it's pretty blatant. Also the new devo album isn't that great.

I would buy this shirt if DEVO wasn't printed below the monkey. If it were simply the monkey in the hat with the quote, I'd be all over it.

Ahh man, I feel a fool. I am sorry for my mistaken prediction about today's shirt. But, congrats to Kaseyfleming! This is a great pick and a good end to a very interesting derby.

It's far more clever than your calling it mentally challenged in a rather uncouth manner.

I would not have gotten this had the band not appeared on The Colbert Report.

Giving up after a few weeks on woot is like a forty-niner giving up after panning in one creek. The good stuff emerges eventually, you just have to wait for it. Trust me. It's worth it.

There hasn't been a really good shirt in about 6 months. This as editors choice shows why woot has fallen off so badly. These days they lean towards the cutsy. The sort of thing I'd dress a child in, but never wear.

Notice how all the contests say no video games, no etc etc etc. They stop the artists from submitting what we want in an attempt to make the site more populist. The result is milktoast. Nothing good, nothing interesting.

I so used to love woot. Unfortunately those days are gone.

To the artist: Great piece of art. I don't mean to detract from your work. I love the design, but it's just not devo. Monkeys are Evo, not DEvo. I've never seen an official devo shirt with a monkey.

I would buy it if it didn't say DEVO on it.

Hats off to Woot for picking a very band-like shirt, the most promotional looking of the three winners in fact!

I would've loved to see one of my favorite cartoony artists get the nod, lucky or bass' for instance, but major congrats to kasey!
