Ohhhh this is awesome!!! But, I think the colors on the cute spider might be a tiny bit too pastel. I almost didnt click on the entry, but when I saw in the main thread who the artist was, I had to see. Im glad I came to look! Even if the colors don't quite appeal to me, this image is still awesome and I would wear this. +1!!

If the derby was like the Highlander and there could be only one, this is the one I'd pick. I just really love this illustration and the originality behind it. If I had more votes I'd put them here. Just had to say that one more time!

I didn't want to, but I had to log in and vote for this one. I didn't expect to see any shirts I liked in this derby but you definitely surprised me here. I especially like the extra honey streaming down the sides of the pot, since it adds a strangely appetizing grotesqueness to it.

Woot only allows you to use 6 ink colors - it looks like you have used at least 4 colors of gray plus black plus 2 colors of blue, not including the shirt color. If I got that wrong, you should probably show a closeup.

If you are planning for this to be on heather, you need to use the special template woot has for heather shirts, showing the texture. This is available on the same page where you made an entry.

Thanks guys. I figured I would do one for each for this contest after all. One that was an alternative take on the theme, and one that was my best representation of it.

I do like a lot of the little Japanese animal characters and stuff, it's just not something I draw very often at all.

Right on. Some folks get very judgemental about Japanese/cute designs but the best of it is extremely creative and has genuine appeal.

This is awesome, and makes me want to bang my head on a table. I just finished drawing a jumping spider of my own to submit (in a very similar vein, too-- offering the viewer a dead fly as a gift, with a little heart above its head), came to woot to submit it, and saw this infinitely superior design sitting there, taunting me with its adorableness.

I would suspect that watching your wrist breaking illustrations get shut out by stock vector and stickmen changes a man.

Thats not an original design. Its the same pepper (flame and all) that is on my Tokidoki purse I bought 2 years ago. They also use that same pepper to make many other purses, shirts, and keychains.
