Obviously, no one can answer that.

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.

Very much agreed. I can't stand Branson. I've only liked the rides...and even those lost their appeal when I got a bit older.

I've been to Silver Dollar City twice and White Water once, and two of those times were in the last 5 years. Don't mind The Landing though, as long as we're hanging out in bars, after the obligatory Bass Pro Shop visit.

I'm just about to order the Garmin I want. Only a dollar's difference between Amazon and Walmart, but Walmart's return policy is 90 days and Amazon's is 30, so I think I'm going with Walmart, have it shipped to the store. Any opinions?

I've used ship-to-store with no problems except that it takes a while to get there.

I've always had good luck with shipping to store at wal mart. I've done it a few times.

I can't count the number of times I've been to Silver Dollar City. White Water... probably 7-10... but I hate it. I still hate Branson. Although, I did really enjoy the air show they had there soon after opening that airport. I really don't care for Bass Pro either. Lol, don't get me wrong, I actually do like it around where I live (which would not be the case if I lived in Branson)... I'm just ready for a change since this is all I've basically known. College was only 40ish minutes away from where I grew up. It's time for a change.

Despite my bitterness towards wal-mart at the moment, site-to-store worked out well for me. It did take it a little longer than I think it should have though. What garmin have you decided on?

Unless you live in one of these states: Kansas, Kentucky, New York, North Dakota, or Washington... you shouldn't be charged sales tax with Amazon, unless I have missed something.

I don't care for Bass Pro either, but my husband likes fishing, so we're always going to Bass Pro there or in Springfield. Where did you go to college?

The 1450. Sales tax will be about $11. I think for the extra 60 days to return it, I'll still go with Walmart.

Just up the road from the huge Bass Pro in Springfield.

For $11, it might be worth it if you think you might want to return it. Plus, wal-mart is so ridiculously open with returns, so that's a + for them as well. I say go for site-to-store as long as you don't want it right away. I think my shipment took 2ish weeks.

I can see why you're ready for a change, then. If you live 40 minutes from there, it's not a very exciting place no matter which direction you go.

I'm moving 150 miles east to Fort Leonard Wood and that's enough excitement for me. I'm just glad our big move isn't to Springfield. That was an option before and I've always been against it.

Good Morning Rain and all who follow.
Good Night Tennis.

I have a couple of days I have to use before Sept.01 so going to take one today. It will be a lazy day.

I like Bass Pro and Cabella's (both of which are within 45 min of here) but never seem to buy anything there. Sort of like woot.

I prefer Bass Pro Shops to Cabellas.

What are the chances of that car part coming before the weekend? That would be a nice Saturday morning project.

Good Morning PWA!

ice - it may not fit in your budget, but for a great mix of outdoor adventure with luxurious accommodations (relative to tent/cabin camping at least) and absolutely awesome food, you should look into some of the eco-resorts in Belize. Our family stayed at Maya Mountain Lodge on vacation in 2000 and had an incredible time there.

Went to the drive-thru at the drug store to pick up a prescription. The nice lady hands the clipboard out the window for me to sign. I sign, add the money to it, hand it back. She drops it. Outside the window. I'm too close to open the car door. I was going to pull forward to get out but for some reason she said, back up. Okay. I backed up -- over her clipboard. Good thing it wasn't windy, I would have been chasing money around the parking lot.

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.

Thanks for the tip. I don't think our budget will handle that one next year but perhaps another.
