The thumbnail dos not do this shirt justice. It is a pretty epic shirt. Congrats on a great design with only three colors! That's fantastic!

I can clearly tell which one Death is, and War is probably the one with a sword - but how are Pestilence and Famine represented by the other two characters?

kinzoku wrote:Thank you everyone for the votes and support! I'm surprised and pleased by how well this is doing despite how late I submitted it.

Yeah I realize Pestilence is the more common name, but I put Conquest since it made more sense visually. But in any case the name shouldn't matter since it's not in the title or the design. o/

This is true, but isn't the seahorse on the left, with a crown and arrow, representing conquest? The name does make a difference in that regard.

DeusExSublymonal wrote:Yeah, until that crap move I was a supporter of Google. Thankfully, Bing works pretty well.

FYI [for the people who haven't followed this]:

Google is basically conspiring with Verizon to make the Internet a tiered service [like cable]. So what we are on now would be the 'public' internet (the worst option). We'd have to pay EXTRA to access premium sites and content.

Not exactly what I read. Paying extra to get to certain sites doesn't make sense for and IP, thats done on a site-by-site level for things like corn sites or premium movie websites.

Google and Verizon want a tiered service for priority and speed. Companies that pay more would be given faster connections. So for example YouTube would be faster then Collegehumor. CNN would be faster then your local TV station's web site, etc, etc.

The consumer won't pay more or have higher bills, its the corporations that will be competing and paying for the faster tiers. But on that note, yes it isn't the best of ideas. It will turn viewers away from news blogs and give the corporations a bit more sway and power when it comes to the internet. No one will stop you from going to the little blogs, but CNN will certainly load faster.

I'm really surprised this isn't in the fog. The effect is otterific. If you ever decide to work on it more though, I think it would be cooler if Earth were spherical instead of egg-shaped. The whole cracked-egg message still comes across more than enough with the yolk.

Well...He was getting tired, and the world was getting well...a little too "heavy." Whether it was a natural disaster or a man-made one---between tsunamis in the Pacific and pirates in Madagascar---it was just too much.

Working on submitting detailed pics of the disasters around the world...In the meantime, open to suggestions for a likely resub.

That's why we love your designs here! You take the time to draw everything perfectly with detailed construction and tons of character, with great wearable colors and the kind of eyecatching contrast that you need to stand out in the derby.

And it's funny and warm to boot. Props to your boyfriend for the assist this week. This is easily the best shirt in the contest. I hope you'll be celebrating a chimpy birthday. ^_^
