Very great! Got my vote.

No. Yes.

It played to my awwww factor. If it wasn't sort of neat, it wouldn't have gotten my vote, but I liked the simple art of it and the fact it was a kid's attempt makes it that much more worthy of my vote. So what, it helps add maybe a few more handful of votes? Not like it's going to contribute 2000 votes and a published shirt here, unless of course it was worthy.

No. Yes.

And honestly, he knows he has no chance of winning anything, so I don't think he typed that in order to pander for more votes. If anything, I think he was a bit self-conscious of it and wanted to sort of qualify it as kid art so people wouldn't make fun of it otherwise.

That is so funny! I actually used my trusty black cat, Mako, as the source for sketching the eyes... and she is the sweetest cat that I have ever come in contact with! As far as the thumbnail, I admit it is kind of weak, but the cat really is the most interesting part of the design that will draw people in.

It's a bunch of different texture brushes on a couple of layers. I'm going on vacation for a week, but I could throw a tutorial together when i get back, if people are interested in such a thing.

I like the idea

Yes, it's a not so subtle nod to Trogdor, but I wanted the art to stand alone and be enjoyable on its own merit. I considered having him roasting a knight, holding an umbrella, but I just can't help loving the thatched cottage classic.

It's okay, I've actually have decided check out some other sites. It's really clique-like here (with a few exceptions) and I feel like my style is not appreciated at all, on top of being invisible. I even changed my username so I would be taken seriously, but that didn't work, either. It's cool. Good Luck to everyone else and I wish you well.

This is a REALLY pretty design, don't get me wrong. The red is a bit funky, but the way the colors blend... amazing. I'd hang it on my wall, but I wouldn't wear it... sorry. :/
