Shirt.Woot definitely needs more shirts like this one! Design style and colour selection look simply great, I heartily approve.

I love the Super Soaker 50! That takes me back to nineteen aught ninety two. Ah for simpler times. Good pic, wish it were up earlier.

Re: Umbrella Tree

Your style is somewhat reminiscent of Beatrix Potter. Sketchy looking, but powerful and moving. She was great at making life-like characters and still motion, both of which you've done here.

I like how you've dealt with shaping the edges of the rain. I pondered that issue for some hours/days on my pic. I also love the feather texture.

One of my favorite visuals on a tshirt is when the picture fills out a 3D space and the action "jumps off the surface." Well done.

SkekTek wrote:otterific! I'm a neurobiologist and professor of Biology, so I love it when I get comments like this- you can still be artistic and scientific!

Consider that if it was a sea sponge (used to 4-5% saline), adding pure water to it would make it swell up due to the hypotonicity of the rain. This would cause the individual cells to burst and probably kill the sponge.

Not to even factor in the radiation from all that nuclear fallout we created back in the 50's-60's. Weep all you little sponges.

No big surprise here. And a chance at one of your shirts on something other than black/asphalt? Sign me up. Nice job as always, Chris.

Such a cool design, the only problem I would have is that it wins it would be sold out within 5 minutes of its existence in the market...must camp shirt.woot! !

{{mod note: you can edit your posts by clicking on "edit post," which can be found at the bottom of each of your posts next to "tattle" and "reply." I think you would have gotten more votes if you captured the comp image better in the display image. I just randomly click it, not being attracted to it, and found this wonderful treasure inside.

It took me a minute, but I thought at first that his nostrils were his eyes. I had to trace the path of the teardrop on his face up to his eyes. I like the colors though!

Poor sad monster, he needs an industrial dryer to fluff him back up!
