Wth, the blatant Calvin & Hobbs ripoff still lives while this gets rejected? What's wrong with this in comparison to the Tardis/DeLorean shirt that's lasted the past 68 weeks?

This is just one of your regular shirts with less shading.

In a rare display of myself, I will actually agree with you on this, this shirt is pretty terrible, I mean, some of those mspaint shirts on the bottom at least nail the theme better than this.

Dang, rejected. Was really looking forward to this. Guess it isn't considered "prehistoric" enough.

Hope you get the chance to resubmit it again one day soon.

sorry to hear all that about the colors. it can't be that hard to pick the colors... right? I like this design. quite trippy and at first didn't get it until your explaination about how it was thought the hand prints were done. learn something new everyday. +1 for learning a cool design!

Re: Honey look, I made a statue of you...

ha! funny stuff! I was thinking about that statue when tryin to decide on a design. One thought was having a skinny cavegirl look at it and feel depressed because she can't live up to the expectations placed on her by "the media"... why I shared this in your thread... who knows. But glad to see you post something and love the design and colors!

This reminded me of a site I came across the other night. Not that this is a copy of anything there, but sort of spot on to the theme for the prehistoric version of a modern thing people do.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I need this shirt to LIIIIIIIIVE!!! It couldn't have been rejected because of copyright or whatever; they've already had a Dr Who shirt. Was it rejected because woot doesn't think they'd be able to print it on a shirt and still maintain the details?

In the middle picture, "the sabertooth" has a gap in its tail. If I had wanted this shirt, that would have ruined it for me.

kharmazero wrote:it's a really nice and fresh design.I think the dots are too equally put on the design, and have all same size, perhaps you could get a better effect , using different sizes and more random placement, but just my 2 cents ;-))sorry for my approximative english

Kharma, that is a great suggestion about the dots...I was right at the coloring stage when my computer quit and I hadn't saved it...I lost a half days work on it...so I took a long break , decided not to give up, went back, re -did all the work, and the last thing I added was the dots...next time, I am going to use your advice about dot size. (thankyou for the great and very useful input!!

Also, as you know I am loving your cool entries...
Especially this one (Below) I didn't realize that you weren't from around here!! Maybe that explains the artwork, it is really nice, and not what you see every day.

Ha! I like it too. But you only used a mouse? Impressive. I got one of those drawing tablets, and am still having difficulty making a drawing I'd do on paper, look the same on the screen. That's why I had to do cartoony characters on last weeks derby.

I'd fail completely with a mouse. This is really good.

He wrote a pun. Not an insult.
Let's break it down:
A pun is, in the simplest definition, a play on words (more specifically, this). Look at the image. There's a soup can on there. Mr. Walmazan wrote "super" in reference to the image. "Super," spelled funny or going portmanteau-ish, was made "souper" by Mr/s. Parrotworks. Like soup that is... super. So, "souper" refers both to the word "super" and the soup can in the image. Mr/s. Parrotworks thus made a pun in appreciation for Mr. Walmazan's compliment.

I totally love your (above) dark and spooky, very cool winged heavy metal looking prehistoric creature you came up with, it really appeals, and as I have already said, I will enjoy it very much when this side of your repertoire decides to show itself again! For now, I will just totally enjoy this one.
