damn - I forgot I had pacman in it. In my haste to get this up in time I didn't read the brief too well and only saw the "No Starwars" I did actually have darth vader in it originally but deleted it.

Fact is that your first entry wasn't rejected JUST for PG-13, like you implied in another thread, but was also rejected for being off-theme and potentially utilizing characterization you don't own, from a production company you work with.

Opinion is that pointing out that no one has addressed how a certain piece is on theme in a snarky way makes someone a jerk.

See the difference?

Actually, I think this should be the modus operandi toward all rule-breaking Ramy submissions - reject it as close to the submission deadline as possible. Although this will not save the woot forums from the inevitable debate over why it has stayed in the derby so long without perturbing the rejectionator from his slumber, it will at least spare us the stinging facepalm of a Ramy resubmission that changes everything but the actual reason for the original offense.

I hope we've worked out all the kinks in the plan so that next time it happens on the first submission. But, nevertheless, I applaud the effort here, woot. Keep up the good work.

I'm surprised this got rejected for not being PG-13 in America we are much more open about blood and violence. Someone can be shot in the head and it still be a PG-13 movie yet if you see pubes all of a sudden the movie get an R or NC-17 rating. While in Europe it is much the opposite they are much more open about sexuality and more strict on violence and such. Strange world we live in.

here are some facts for you.

actually i never said it was only rejected for pg-13 just that it was. and it wasn't rejected for being off theme, it was rejected for being religious in nature as it had to do with adam and eve. as for your other comment, you really have no idea what you are talking about, my "production company" doesnt own any characterizations that i drew here nor do they have a problem with what i drew for that design, and after an email discussion neither does woot. so the fact that you keep bringing that up to somehow "scandalize" me is ridiculous. get over it adder, i draw characters with round eyes, so do a ton of other artists, way before family guy and american dad.

I really wish shirt.woot would go back to being shirt.woot instead of shirt.clique or shirt.lynch.
