Raindrops keep fallin' on my head
And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed
Nothin' seems to fit
Those raindrops are fallin' on my head, they keep fallin'

Where's Dorothy? Maybe she's already back in Kansas.

I hear it's hip to be square.

Clearly it's hip to vote on and wear them, also.

Ahh poor witchy, she doesn't have to be so sad, just wait a couple of days and that tinman's hands will be all rusted closed and the scarecrow will be all mildewy. Without then the lion will probably just run away scared and she'll have the run of the place!

Where do you find a Roomba? At the Innba!

You know, it was probably a storm like this that caused the Tin Man to get rusted up in the first place.

Leave your favorite storybook characters out in the rain long enough and they'll shrink.

Looks like the Scarecrow's still waiting on that brain, given he's about to cannonball into a 1" deep puddle of water.

Don't worry about George Lucas!!! Imagine how violently L. Frank Baum is whipping about in his grave!

This reminds me very much of the style of Joshua Cotter's graphic novel Skyscrapers of the Midwest... very cool.

For some reason, the Clockwork Orange version of "I'm Singing In The Rain" goes through my head when I look at this.

Imposter Pete was Unprepared for the Almost Human Nightmare Cuckoo Clock. The Walrus and Eggmen were the Height of Envy at the Monkey Bar. See the DJ spinning records on a Flora Phonograph while simultaneously playing Rock, Paper, Scissorhold.

It's unfortunate that little Elphaba's weather-related allergy kept her from playing in the puddles and making friends like the regular kids her age. If she wasn't deathly allergic to water maybe she wouldn't have become such a bad apple.

If you think five year olds are bad just imagine what it was like when she got to high school. That's when she decided she'd show them you don't mess with a wicked witch!

While this isn't really a shirt that I would wear, I'm glad to see it print. Good job!

Exactly what I was thinking. He *is* mostly covered up, but how is he gonna keep hold of that oil can if his hands get rusty?!

Adorbs, but I have too many charcoal Woot shirts D:

Naturally, YouTube has the ending to this sad story:

"Who would have thought a good little girl like you could destroy my beautiful wickedness?"

(And someone commenting there asked a very good question: If the Wicked Witch knew she would melt, why'd she keep a bucket of water in her castle?)

Ever share a castle with flying monkeys? The floors likely had to be mopped on the hour.

If you've seen the play Wicked(I didn't read it, sorry if I'm wrong), but if you've seen it, you'll know that she doesn't really die from the water.....it's a ruse.

Wait. Did I just spoiler something to y'all?

sorry

Hey, I really like this design and voted for it, but I just noticed Emerald City in the background. How come it has a green aura but isn't green itself? Does the city change color when it rains?

If you really want to be specific, the "Emerald" City, wasn't really Emerald at all, rather, it is no more green than any other city. Also, when you go through the front gates, you would be fitted with green glass spectacles that wrapped behind your head and locked with a key that only the doorman held.

As for it changing color, I think that should be left to the horse of a different color.

Yep, I'm an Oz nerd.

I guess you're right. Most people are more familiar with the movie though. The buildings were green in that, right?

If you've read the book Wicked... you'll know the play got it wrong.

This reinforces my theory that The Wizard of Oz is a tragedy and the 'wicked' witch is the hero.

Here, as the numbskulls taunt her deadly water allergy, is probably when making rabid flying monkeys began to sound like a good idea.

(Congrats SeedUvPain!)

I can't believe they didn't like the 80's Return to Oz movie. It was so true to the series of Oz books.

If she's a witch, can't she just cast some spells on them, or maybe use some of her flying monkeys? They're dancing around in plain sight...

She's obviously not trying hard enough to be wicked.
