I love how the one bacteria is "holding back" the other one!

Well.... Currently nowhere. Especially since woot owns it for another 90 days or something. There might be another chance for me to submit it in the derby, or I might submit it somewhere else later on down the line. Who knows.

Great design, but you got the arrows wrong. Wind has to be traveling faster on top than on the bottom for lift to be achieved, curved arrows on top, straight arrows on the bottom.

Re: Made of carbon

My favorite shirt of the derby, by far. It's bold and really stands out to me.

I just wish the design placement was moved over to the right side instead. Ah, oh well.

I love the shirt ... the die seems a little too large and prominent IMHO. Would have done better near the bottom somehow near the slaying. I hope it prints though.

Find a way to print it and we'll spread the word. If Wil posts the site to buy it from, you know you'll sell a decent amount.

I do have one suggestion though. Turn the die so the "20" is showing instead of the "18". :-)

Poor Trogdor. No more burniating for him.

Crushed that this didn't make it. It's woot's fault that all my PB&J sandwiches will be lopsided and not aerodynamic.

Ugh, I wanted this shirt so badly. It might not have related that well to the topic but it was just so stunning to look at. Hope this gets reentered in a later derby or wins the Double Take.

Nice work ramyb.

It's lost two derbies now. I think it's had enough chances.

It was rejected from one, so that doesn't really count as a loss... it was never in contention. That is also why it doesn't count as a resub.

I made sure the wind lines were more curved above the flying machine. It's not a perfect construction but it's just about working! :p

Will you be selling the "test tube baby" shirt elsewhere? I would love to buy one and I know other science teachers that would as well.

I like the 18.

More importantly, if you were to put this on Threadless or Zazzle or somewhere I'd definitely buy one. This is otterific!

Hey, your design is floating around on tumblr because it was up on 9gag:

Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see credit given to you. Look into it, perhaps?

About the shirt:

After collecting data (one step of the scientific method), it has been discovered that both ice cream sales and shark attacks increase in the summer. The only explanation for this must be that eating ice cream leads to being attacked by a shark ;)

Another possible explanation is that both, ice cream eaters and meat eaters are attracted by delicious foods of the beach during the summer.

The design is ok. I support one hundred percent it.
