I wish the squirrels in my yard had a nite deposit, so I woulnd't have to keep pulling out the baby oaks from the nuts they forgot about.

Interesting way that you put this together - it's cool! I'm not sure how smart it is to cannonball that far down into just a pile of leaves, but...

Re: Falling

very lovely, i wish the placement were a bit more to the left, cause it looks off center to me, but the design is very nice. this would make a cool shoulder print.

Ogres Mangling Freaky Ghouls, this is tame. Last derby I thought the gloves were coming off in a couple of threads.
I agree with Adder, we need more from you and others like you (Weird, you lissenin'?).
Still, though I wouldn't wear ANY Woot shirt if I was afraid of the attention to my chest, it is best not to virtually hang out a sign, so to speak. But, a slight change in size and/or placement would solve that easily enough.

Hmmmm. I have to agree the fall feel just isn't there. But this is bloody. I almost want to take back my comment on your raker sub! This rocks!

I love this design, but I'm a little concerned about visibility because I'm not sure the shirt color shown is the same as what Woot offers.

I'm voting anyway, but you might want to check the colors against what Woot specifies (at least in the print ready file!).

Here's the Woot colors for reference:

No offense, but what's with all the owl themed shirts lately? Not just on shirt.woot, but shirt sites in general? Is there something I don't know? Just curious.

Nice 'twist' on the design concept and very cool coloring. Always interested to see what you come up with collaboratively and individually.

Regardless of whether or not it "has been done a million times", it is still an bloody design that I'm certain will sell.

Coolio! Love it - and that it blows a common adage out of the water.

Absolutely stunning. I've grown quite disenchanted with the derbies as it's been hard to watch beautiful shirts lose to mediocre designs. Hopefully, this one will rise above it all and I can spend some money next week

I am in awe. I'll agree with Spiritgreen and sometimes the heavy linework in your stuff is a little overpowering. This does have a lighter feel. And I think the two of you have out-done yourselves. Easily the prettiest and most wearable design in ages.

Love the colors and the overall concept. I wish there were more leaves and less stump, as it's proportionally kind of stumpy, but otherwise it's very striking.

Cutest. shirt. ever.

I have an orange tabby that I'm sure thinks he's a lion.

The first thing I thought was it was similar to the Fractal Tree tee:

Re: Transitions

I like this - it's refreshingly nothing like the squirrel entry. I particularly like the coloring on the trunk following the course of the leaves' transition. And it isn't limited to just fall colors. Very nice.

I agree. There is an imbalance here that seems improper and unappealing. Like Tgentry said, making the tree trunk thinner (or have it branch out sooner) and adding more leaves/colors would make this a really solid design. Still good work though.

Re: Equinox

Wow! Thanks everyone! I think we just set some sort of "5-Star comments per hour" record.

I personally feel that this is the best coloring I've done yet (I even told Drakxxx that in an email before I sent him the file) and I think several of you noticed what's different. I did indeed tone down the intensity. Fall is my favorite season so I think I put even more love into it.

The lines Drakxxx sent me were kickass. I took some time to make some adjustments that may not be obvious without comparing the two but generally were some proportion adjustments and added leaves. I then just worked on it until it said "Yes, I am perfect!" I really like for these to be as good as they can be and I feel like this week, we have indeed reached a new level. I'm super stoked that you agree. That definitely makes the energy put into it more than worth it. And waking up and reading these comments after staying up all night working on this puts a big smile on my face. Thank you all!
