Re: Transitions

I have to say I love this one. While on average this design would only have gotten an "interesting" from me as I moved on, today I smiled.
You see my son (who's 6) just did a fall tree painting in class last week and his tree is just like this. He painted all the "leaves" in a rainbow of colors.

So I'd buy it, just because he'd get a kick out of it. ^_^

*chuckles* Yeah....that'd be Hubb and I. He's the guy with the leaf blowers and I'm the one being aggravated.

zombtastic. Both Hubb and I love the eerie feeling the design has.

Hubb. Is that what you call your husband? Or do you have a hubcap you talk to while rocking back and forth and peeking out from behind the curtains?

I have that shirt. Wore it yesterday... it's getting worn out. I think I need to replace it with this one.

I'm impressed at the use of lighting and shadows. Makes it easy for me to picture him sitting in front of a fire after a long day

Yeeep. Chest lumps. I learned how they can hide key parts of designs after wearing the shirt I got printed: (link). Pluto was totally hidden! The joke was ruined!

Nice colors, clean. But not a great shirt.
Keep subbing tho - look forward to more.

Clever and just sneaky enough to make you do a double take. Great idea and good execution.

Is that on lemon? It looks like some non-Woot greenish yellow, which worries me, because I like it a lot and want it to stick around.

Spiritgreen wrote:Radiomode is very good at these kinds of designs. I don't think generic is the right word... they may not have a concept or a message, they're purely wearable, but that can't be easy to do. It's just a different kind of skill than most Woot artists use.

Well put, my biggest problem with the woot derby is these uppity artsy elitists. The button says I'd want one, and if this was on a tee shirt I would buy and wear the shirt. Simple as that.

Yes it is on lemon, i guess it is perhaps your scren colors stting that gives you this feeling.Does woot can still print designs that haven't reach the fog?

  • Winning a BLA does NOT mean this shirt won't print -- I'm hoping it does.

Yeah, that's true. I'm more disappointed in a lack of entries that capture the spirit of autumn in the woods and how wonderful that can be.

There is something vaguely familiar about the birds and the branches.
I can't place them but there is the niggle, you know?

Thanks again everyone for your kind words and support.

Thanks for reply, CD.
Yes, I said that as a compliment, Coz i tried GIMP, It really takes a lot of mad-skill to get this kinda result.
