HAAAM!!! Ham is good. They should make ham scented sweaters for winter...mmmm.
Or scratch-n-sniff T-shirts?
Does this come with a bib 'cause I'm drooling all over myself already! GMV
Junka wrote:Not saying this won't get rejected, but this shirt not only did not get rejected, but also got printed-- http://shirt.woot.com/Derby/Entry.aspx?id=31700
I wasn't familiar with that shirt, but if I had been around way back then when that derby happened I probably would have made the same comments in Boots' thread as well. And I'm sure it still would have printed.
You know my comments mean nothing to woot as a whole...they're just my opinions.
That's pretty much the point of opening up the derbies in a forum type setting. Everyone can say what they want (within reason).
I'd think if people weren't able to handle any comments at all that they would just submit for the Daily instead of the Derby.
Re: Heaven On Earth
oooo- I LOVE FLYING PIG!!! Wish I could vote 1000 times! +1

Re: Meaty Shower Scene
Haaaa, this is awesome, I was waiting for this one, wooo! Adorable and wonderfully executed! +1 here, I would totally love to have this.
Re: By Your Powers Combined!
I like that you fixed the arm on the hot dog, Patrick. It really looks much better this way Very cute idea, made me giggle when I first saw it.
Because Machete can kick Chuck's @##, and he's a butcher on the side. You know, to keep in practice. Three colors on black.
avhienda01 wrote:This design changed a whole lot while I was working on it. Didn't think I'd get any ideas for this derby, that's for sure. Different style from what I'm used to (drawing food, for the most part) but it was really fun . Thanks for looking/commenting/voting <3!
He has a bacon towel too! Love it!
Re: Just say No
This really turned out great, Jas ! Really like that you ended up going with the dark blue shadows, it softens up the picture a little bit. Very adorable little animals too.

HeartlineTwist wrote:No...Thankskilling. It's a movie.
There's some language in there.
I never saw that movie, and its not related to that!
Hmmm... My local gorcery carries turduckens this time of year. I think I gotta talk the huby into nixing the plain turkey and havin' us one of these bad boys.
Oh, and nice shirt!
I can't wait to mix this with some mayo and relish and have a super tasty sandwich!

Re: TEXAS CHAINSAW BBQ
Oh man, having the menu on the back would totally rule yeah.
wootvan wrote:this raises lots of questions:
are they organic?
are they farm-raised?
why not Earthwoman?
are there finger-foods?
is there an equivalent of veal/lamb?
do you cook noses and how do they smell?
is there dark/white meat?
good questions I'm sure, but more importantly, why do we need to import these humans from "Earth" and not employ human farmers locally?
Re: Late Night Snack
the stars and the window are my favorite! oh - except for the little bear on the fridge. also my favorite. cool shirt!
BootsBoots wrote:Oh, he is. I had to translate it into English for the speech bubble, though. Not everyone speaks Capitalist Pig. ;)
then I'll speak in a way that all Capitalist Pigs can understand:
VOTED!, and WILL BUY!
Re: Hot Dog's Identity Crisis
LOL! eye of newt! MmmmMMmm!
What, no Jimmy Hoffa?
This is beyond amazing. I dunno if I'll buy - not sure about people reading my chest for THAT long. But certainly GMV.
This is really awesome and just the kind of messed up nonsense type shirt that I LOVE to wear. Bacon and Octopus have such amazing synergy!!
Re: You wouldnt deny him, would you?
I <3 the Cerebus style.
Re: Feel The Burn (resubbed 2.0)
Thanks guys. I'm sorry I needed to pull the first design, but this is much better for the changes I think.
Re: Food Chain
I like this! Simple and delicious. +1
This shirt is PERFECT for this weekend. I wish I could sit and watch splatter movies with it on. >sigh< I'll just have to wait.

I agree with this... I'd like him better crispy!
IgnatiusRiley wrote:There's no way in hell I would wear this... hell, I wouldn't even want it in the house. But I'm voting for it anyway just because it's so wonderfully evil.
Re: Cold Blooded Killer
Glad you guys like it. You're all super cool!
Looks like a winner!
Re: It's Mystery Meat My Dear Watson
And big brownie points for Basil Raathbone and Nigel Bruce in the comp.
Thanks for the kind words and critiques all!
I'm glad this has been well received. It's much closer to my actual style than the more cartoony designs I've been submitting--so this certainly helps build my confidence going into future derbies.
Or the title. I was just a little afraid of what I'd find.
Re: A High Steaks Love Affair
It's the shoes - I never realized it before, but one of them should have more feminine shoes.
Still, GMV. I love the color change.
Re: frog legs and a butterfly
Beautiful, and an unexpected take on the theme.
Re: Eat More Monkey
Nice try, pig. But until the price of monkey bacon comes down you're not changing my mind. -_^
Re: I like BIG hams
Simply amazing. I gotta stop looking at all these subs. My tummy's rumbling something fierce!
Re: Spam Spade
AWESOME. I'd wear the hell outta this.
