cool idea - i'd love to wear this, though i would hate explaining it to my family.. ; p
Love this design... I would have loved to see the $3.99/lb handled in a more graphic-ly pleasing way... Supersetting the .99/lb and all that... It's just looks more believable...
Great colour choice, love the muted palette.
Re: Nice to meat you!
I like this design waaaay better than your Turkey themed one... When this fogs and prints, I will wear it while I'm working the grill!
Re: By Your Powers Combined!
This was by far my favorite in the prederby thread, glad to see it panned out nicely. Hope it wins, i'd pick one up for sure.
On the side, I actually like the way the animals look, they are simplistic, but it suits the design well. Not to mention, they are clearly not happy with what they've created
Paul Bunyan and Sasquatch enjoy a tasty, beef feast! And, yes, it's Babe the Ox. FEAST!
Re: Meatapalooza (RESUB)
Please vote again for my resub. New and improved Meatapalooza!
Is it Meatapalooza time already? Alright! Some of my favorite bands are playing. Canned Meat, Spam Halen, Lincoln Pork... I can't wait to get there!!
Please vote again for the resub of Meatapalooza here: http://shirt.woot.com/Derby/Entry.aspx?id=46802

Simply brilliant. GMV and Good luck to you.
Re: Hot Dog's Identity Crisis
Truly a hilarious shirt
Re: An exhaustive guide to cuts of meat
As someone who works in a meat processing facility I can't WAIT to buy this.
Are you kidding me? Why is anyone else even bothering to enter? This is IT.
<3 for you.
Tried this at one of our vendors...it was amazing (not a full version, they had an R+D version that was sliced...incredible!).
If this wins I will probably send them one and maybe keep one for me too! Great design.
Proving yet again that you are the font queen.
Great work on both of your subs, Boots^2.
I have to say, the concept for this is quite zombtastic.
Re: Ground Chuck
Oh please have this printed some how!
Awww, poor Hotdog. This is excellent. A great example of how text should be used on a tee.
Re: You Never Sausage a Cool Shirt
Nice pun...I wonder how long it would take people to get it.
Re: Final Words?
I like it...but...
Is this a male pig or is it just digesting strangely?
GMV either way.
Re: Just say No
I'm not even a vegetarian but I really like this shirt.
Cute. You do know Tofurkey is a real product, right?
Re: Mystery Meat
Even the pig, the chicken and the cow themselves can't figure out what this meat is.
Six colors on asphalt: red, white, pink, tan, black, gray

Still, GMV. I love the color change.
Tell that to Popeye and Olive Oyl
Re: Plenty of Meat
Also, the comp here does not look as good as the actual design. I will put up a link soon to a better image.
slhampel wrote:Fun. But no menudo for me, thanks. :-) Question... is the guy in red supposed to be sticking out of the window or is that a layering issue?
It's totally intentional. This design is send up of this image
theinfinityloop wrote:I did this as a pencil sketch earlier on in the year for our dear Miss Jadenkale. I ended up liking it enough to make a shirt design out of it. I don't really have a deep explanation for it other than it is simply two great things. Mmmmmmm.
Thatsa me!!! :D Thank you for subbing this to the derby!!! I can't wait to wear this!
I figure that stuff in the freezer must get pretty bored.
This is a nice design. I really like how you handled the type.
I really like this one! In for one if it prints.

Memphis Chainsaw, or Carolina Chainsaw Barbecue just didn't sound as good as Texas.
Re: Cold Blooded Killer
I love the teeth on the butcher! Great vintage cartoon feel!
My friend and I just had an extensive argument on whether the farthest right animal is a platypus or a duck. I'm convinced its a platypus (though I'm pretty sure I'm wrong since that would make no sense)
I'm not a vegetarian, but this IS my favorite shirt. I kind of want it anyway
Sweet Jesus this is amazing.
HEY FOLKS: THIS IS A PARODY THAT WORKS.
Re: Frankenfurter vs Villager
When meat goes bad! This villager has a special hotdog fork especially for this emergency.
I NEED this shirt! Upboat for you good sir!

That's the whole point of the shirt :P
Re: America's Premier Cephalopod Meat
what it say in the square box?
tjost wrote:Like, eh, ok
That's "Like, ok, eh". We use the "eh" at the end of the sentence. Sigh...Americans. (Rolls eyes).
JustJiggles wrote:Canadians and french Canadians are a MUCH different breed... If I ever got offended, this would be the thing to do it.
Kind of like comparing a Canadian to an American?
Re: The Catch
Nice design! I like the drawing style on this one.
