T-shirt art is not about having your own style, it's about making a point. My assumption is that you were trying to say something about Dr. Suess's work which is a common experience for most American children.
The style is completely legitimate for t-shirt art. The reason stuff gets rejected is because Woot has to worry about getting legal challenges which selling a few t-shirts won't pay to defend themselves on, so they just reject anything that they think might give them that problem, no matter how legal it might actually be.
