Yup.

Jealous! Jealous because I WON.

I hope not -- I still prefer IAWL though it's a worthy contender.

stupididiot wrote:im not defending this shirt, i understand why it was rejected for the colors, what i am curious about is the possibly religious reason. what is the possibly religious thing in this, the menorah? or the CHRISTmas tree? How can you reject the menorah but leave all the entries with christmas trees in? now matter how many stories are made up of a fat jolly man in a sliegh with reindeer and elves, christmas is a religious holiday, it celebrates the birth of jesus. so if you can allow any christmas entries, i think any hanukah entries should be allowed. now if you specific problem was the fact that the menorah was burning down the christmas tree, well then i think you should start being a little more clear with your rejection reasons to avoid offending people.

I think its because the menorah is burning the Christmas tree up. It could, possibly, be intended as or interpreted as an attack on Christianity by Jews. Not saying it is, hence "questionably."

I REALLY LOVE THIS, which of course does not surprise me because I am trying to NOT spend money. I love the design and I think it goes very well with the theme! My only nitpick detail is the the snowflake on the top left corner looks like it just got cut off and does not flow into the ice or wind, not sure what it is supposed to be, other than that I LOVE IT!

I agree. I love the "see-thru" bodies. Makes it look like they're wearing the same shirt you are (though cutely oversized for their tiny bodies).

Doesn't really go with the theme? Seriously? Do all the shirts need to be Cute? Gross? Funny?
This shirt is the absolute best interpretation of "Home for the Holiday" Period.
I don't care your political affiliation, your views on war, your thoughts on the religious implications of the Holiday. This shirt is a message that every american should embrace!

Should have added this: Your thumbnial is so small, I'm quite sure that's why you're not getting votes. Folks just pass it by without clicking. I know it's late, but why not resub with a closeup of, say, the snoozy guy with the coffee as your thumbnail?

Re: Freedom from Want (of Brains)

This is well-drawn, and top quality stuff. My reservation has less to do with zombies, and more to do with 'homage' parodies of classic art. We've seen two as dailies recently. I get it, and this one (Freedom from Want) was inevitable this time of year. But, *yawn*.
Excuse me, sorry.
This is great, and more stuff from you is a must. This gave me a smile, but it's not something I would wear.

I also disagree with the rejection. Perhaps you could resub as "Loopback For the Holidays?" This shirt is zombtastic. I hope you get another chance to submit it.

Re: Christmas Dangers

I like it - I'm partial to It's A Wonderful Life and Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown, but this is the missus's shirt of choice.

The only concern I have is how far down the shirt the graphics go. I prefer restricting imagery to chest/solar plexus level. But, I'd be in for one for her.
