I really like your use of short, strong hatches. You captured the owl's flight very well & the color is striking, too. Good job!

I agree with the suggestion of slightly altering the placement, but leave the white-on-black as it is---the design really POPS in this scheme!

Also, I believe it's fine since "non-wooters" can think it's funny because it's Poe smiling doing a thumbs up in a tshirt instead of his stuffy ol boring suit, and I'm not making a textual reference to Woot, so "wooters" who DO know it's a woot tshirt think it's funny for that, as well as the rest.

I believe that small areas of solid color, especially if they have negative-space etching in them, are perfectly acceptable.
