Here's what I'm working with. Critiques requested.

Thanks!

I really like the roughness of it and the use of only a few colors. I'd like to see the design be a little smaller on the shirt. I think that'd be more wearable. Maybe add a few more tinier stars to fill it out some more too.
(I know most people around here seem to like having the design cover the entire shirt but this causes wraparound problems on some of us chicks.)

feedback very welcomed.

I also am a little confused by the middle guy. Actually, I have a hard time connecting all of them to the pilot look he's sporting. I'd almost like one of them to be in a futuristic plane or something. But I do like the design overall and like how you colored it.

I'm mildly intrigued, but mostly confused. Is the woman giving birth to the stars?

I like this quite a bit, actually a lot more than I would think if someone would describe it verbally. I would definitely keep the earth, but maybe as someone else suggested muting it down would decrease the tremendous contrast.

oh! I didn't realize he was catching the stars. Maybe make the bag hanging off the balloon glow a little from the inside like there are already stars in there? I think I might move the balloon a little closer to the center so it's not quite on the edge but still off-center

Haha no, it is supposed to be a dress. I think it will be more evident with color and maybe when the lines are more finished, although the unfinished lines don't involve that part. hmmm..

Let me know what you guys think.

I have another design I want to do that's more um... Star Trek inspired. Not sure if I'll get time to do it or not.

LOVE! If this prints, I'm definitely getting one for my aunt too. I'm looking forward to seeing the leg changes. Hopefully you did change the tail as well? It keeps making me think wolf. Maybe tone down the smile just a smidgeon as well? I know that dogs smile, but maybe just the tiniest hint less.

I actually like this more - just as it is - than either of the other two that you've posted in this thread. The colors are excellent! And I like the sketchiness.

EDIT: now that im looking at it more i dont really know what the middle one is, is it a snow boarder? or a surfer? i think its the helmet throwing me off, or its just something im not familar with which is very possible =)

I was kind of trying to reference silver surfer but w/o the copyright mumbo jumbo. and that's a helmet because I imagine surfing through asteroid belts can cause head trauma.

Looks great but I would maybe broaden the space between star and jump point. I like the face on the star more. Gives it your stamp!

Same here, I thought the balloon was an alien head. Maybe the balloon needs to be a little bigger compared to the basket? Or the lines positioned a little differently? right now the lines sort of give the impression of eyes.

I'd get rid of the large star. It takes focus away from your main subject: the star poacher. I'd then add more smaller stars and more variation between their sizes.

here's a variation of this idea instead of having the big star off in the distance shining why not have the balloon brought more to the middle of the shirt or to the left or right, bigger, and have it over lap the shining star using negative space to outline and I would also add some more star with variant sizes as rhochstrasser offered.

Ok due to low (read: no) response LOL and the fact that I looked again at my design in a different light, I removed the stars from the eyes and made the skull a little more defined around the edges. Any better?

Hmmm. Well honestly I don't really mind if that's what it looks like at first (kind of like a new way to see it!), but anyway does this help? (changing the color of the people). I didn't want to add too much detail to them or the world, thought it might take away from the mood and style.... though I'll experiment a little.
