What I think is best about this is that she might be wearing nothing but a towel but he's technically completely naked. :D hilarious!

Totally knew this was you Walmazan, just from the thumb. You still haven't had a chance to use your stripping onion! You need to find a reason to use it. :D You need to get the entire naughty collection out there for the masses!

Re: Fetch Sirius Fetch

I like this design! It's cute without being overly saccharine (in my opinion), and you really managed to capture that proud, happy look that dogs tend to get when they're fetching a favorite toy. I also really like the color scheme you used.

It's not really a style I would probably wear personally, but I wanted to compliment you on the illustration.

Re: Star Power RESUB

man i really like the colors in this one better but im not to keen on the shirt color... if this was on black i think it would look way better.. maybe even on asphalt.

Re: 3D Star

A simple star in 3d. I haven't tested this one - I can't find my 3d glasses - but it should pop out relative to the shirt with the center popping out more.

Maybe someone with glasses from the Woot 3 year anniversary shirt can verify this works for me.

Comments and suggestions are appreciated.

Zagazoo wrote:Good work for a first try with halftones! I think this would get a lot more votes if you used a different template for the comp design. I'm not really that fond of the basic Woot template, the others you can get are definitely cool and look better (at least to me). Search for Woot Shirt Templates on Google and it should bring up some good ones, just make sure to get one specifically for woot or you might get the wrong shirt colors.

Sorry, long winded comment, but I feel your work deserves to get more votes and hopefully my suggestions will help

Np, thanks for the feedback. Do you have a link for one specific temp? I could try building my own from there if I had a reference. Just googled and most of the sites seem to have a smaller size or incorrect color. Should I be looking at past entries only?

I'd love to see "a sea of stars"

Like a rippling ocean of stars with an astronaut just floating in it. I would do it myself but I lack the talent...

YES!

A very pretty piece here, Andy. Nothing too complex, just a lovely image, well composed.

kaedex99 wrote:I think this is really quite beautiful. I love the geometry of it; I'm partial to circular designs myself. I really dig the burnished yellows that you used, too; they're just saturated enough to keep the design from feeling overly-antique, and the highlights pop beautifully on the asphalt t-shirt. I only wish I could see the full design closer/larger, because it looks like you put some great detail into it. But, still: I would buy this in a heartbeat.

Hurray for us first-timers! High-five! -:D

Ah I wish it was on asphalt, I don't like the colors with the black as much, too striking for my tastes. Even still I would buy one...

Re: It's just a flesh wound

Bunch of crap. I LOVED this shirt AND searched for similar ones online to see if it was "too similar" like people said. Jatravartid w00ters. There is nothing like this. Find a home for it and I buy it like I was intending to in the first place. :-p

Cool concept too! I agree about the blue box too, but since both the T and the blue are dark, its not the big of a deal to me. Still works and looks great.

Thanks. Yeah, I had to fix the linkies yesterday. I'm hoping they're OK now - I can see them.

paigeg wrote:I like the color, and even the tee color. I would have added another layer, desturated to black. Then offset it, and lower the opacity so it's just a shadow - to the viewer right.
JMO.

That's definitely an idea I should have tried messing with because as manikx66 said, it needs something to make it 'pop' a little more.

Thanks!

thatrobert wrote:Solid execution and funny idea! Exactly what I look for. The only reason I can think you're not doing better is that the idea isn't obvious enough -- it's only because I know what the theme is that this makes sense. Walking down the street and seeing this for 5 seconds, I probably wouldn't get it. That's not necessarily a bad thing -- subtlety is nice -- but subtlety doesn't usually get you 100s of votes around here.

Thanks for the advice. Maybe you're right, though I'm holding tight my belief that it's because I didn't put stars in the bears nose. I think most people saw that and found it completely ridiculous they were absent and absolutely refused to vote for my design. Rude words were said to no one in particular then they promptly destroyed their laptops in a mixture of rage and frustration.

I'm really just here to entertain myself you see ;)
