I think that's beautiful! Either side is neat, only problem with the back idea to me is that you can't look down and see it while you're wearing it! ;)

Cream is a lovely color, but it can be a bit see-through. If you have the print on the back, it will be very noticeable what kind of, err..lovelies you are wearing, haha. I am ok with lemon and cream if the print is on the front cause it'll cover the bewbages.

Beautiful, Boots! Awesome design!

OOPS...that is a Navajo Indian Taco

5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 lb. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Vegetable oil
Water to be able to handle (make mixable)
1 lb. hamburger
2 lg. tomatoes, chopped fine
1 lg. onion, chopped fine
Salt and pepper to taste
1 lg. can refried beans
1/2 lettuce head, shredded
Salsa to taste
Get oil real hot (donut hot). Mix flour mixture until workable by adding water in small amounts. Make into large ball. Let stand 20 minutes. Take small soft ball size pinches off. Roll in floured surface by hand. Play with dough ball until large saucer size (or use rolling pin). Drop rolled piece in hot oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Put refried beans on, hamburger, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese. Salt and pepper to taste.

Oh god, I love those taco! They are so tasty. I always wondered how they were made. Thanks for posting the recipe I'll have to try making them some time. LOL I'll probably burn myself doing it but yum.

I would love to see the back one print, but I bet the front would get more votes. I'd just sub both.

I like the bigger print version personally but I rather it was on the front than the back. I actually think the colors go really well with the creme color.

Edit: Shoot, I realize after looking more carefully that I choose an option you weren't really offering. LOL. Sorry about that.

I love both front and back, but prefer the back print. I don't think the back print would get as many votes as the front. I would vote for both and buy either one that wins. Love the colors.

I am not a taco historian, but my bet is that taco (or something similar) came first. Navajos are a Native American tribe that existed in the Americans way before Europeans, meaning they were probably making those tacos way before Spain step foot in Mexico. That my guess...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taco#History

The taco predates the arrival of Europeans in Mexico. There is anthropological evidence that the indigenous people living in the lake region of the Valley of Mexico traditionally ate tacos filled with small fish. Writing at the time of the Spanish conquistadors, Bernal Díaz del Castillo documented the first taco feast enjoyed by Europeans, a meal which Hernán Cortés arranged for his captains in Coyoacán. It is not clear why the Spanish used their word, "taco", to describe this indigenous food.

There were people in Mexico too before the Spanish came. They were living it up, eating tacos and tamales and drinking hot chocolate. I'm sure that none of them were eating ground beef, btw.

looks good to me. I've been playing with an elephant for about an hour and can't get it to do what I want so I think I'll go another direction.
Maybe layer the same pattern again over it slightly askew in a different color and add or subtract to one so they're not identical.

All that said, if this doesn't make it here, you should sub it elsewhere (with the cleanup and some stronger lines). It looks great.

It has a lot of work to go, but what do people think of the idea so far? I'm thinking each 'mirror' might be a bit small, so the reflections would be a sort of secondary thing to be noticed beyond the embroidered mirrors.

Originally I was thinking cranberry, but then blue might fit better with the reflections..

Thanks!

I get your concept but I think this would be really hard to wear. From afar it would just look like polka-dots. Definitely emphasize the shine on the mirrors and then imitate embroidery between and around so you can tell it's a pattern. Like this:

I do agree that the smaller breast placement is really cool. I know a lot of the people I know would love the angel wings on the back. Hey, they buy tees, too!
But the front breast placement is really nice!

Wow, you have a tough sell, here. I klnow what you're shooting for, but recreating a bunch of small mirrors on a flat fabric medium... It looks like a good start, but needs lots of shade/highlight to make the mirrors work. I dunno if the reflections are worth the effort. JMHO.

Absolutely not. Don't let someone goofing around steer you wrong. Woot is looking for wearable depictions of India - in whatever permutation. If you can make Indian food wearable, good on you, bra. I'm positive I couldn't make curry or even Tandoori look good on a shirt.
