WHATEVER. I'm going to eat my soup-in-a-cup and I'll LOVE it.

I rose in rainy autumn and walked abroad in a shower of all my days.

There's a pretty good Japanese style italian restaurant in the city I grew up in, in Cali. I think we had one of the biggest Japanese populations in Los Angeles, so I absolutely love Japanese food, even though the do have some weird stuff that I probably wouldn't ever try.

FINE, I'll play. We were supposed to have pork tenderloin stuffed with gouda and prosciutto, wrapped in bacon, pan-seared and then baked, with a mustard sauce for dipping and for the green beans. But then I got lazy and threw it in the fridge until tomorrow. And now, reading this thread, I feel so very guilty. And hungry. Mainly hungry.

That sounds awesome and I'd like to make some sort of frankensteined Cubano out of that.

I agree on the olive or brown. Could sub it on both but then you risk splitting the vote and neither printing. Which would be sad. I find that giving people choices is unproductive. Employ the iron fist and tell the people what they're going to vote for. :D

Yep, what ends up happening is you hear 10 different opinions and end up going with whatever your first instinct was.

Would someone mind providing the link again for the shirt templates and colors(non-wrinkly)
I need to test out colors with my tentative design, but the wrinkling isn't helping my color qualms.
Thanks!

Another update...
someone suggested more colors, thank you... but I was basing it off of embroidery that is only one color. Do others think it needs more colors?
I also brightened the thread color...

Less bright thread:

Here are my suggestions:

The profile doesn't read well. From a distance it looks like a weird T not a woman with a scarf. If I'm counting colors correctly you still have one left. Try making the scarf a different color to break up the shapes more.

Create a little more contrast between the shirt and the design. Using a monochromatic color scheme allows you stretch your palette, but you can't let the design disappear into the shirt

I was expecting to find more pre-derby art. Instead I see a raging food debate.

I' guess I'll just board my meat ship and sail away...

I'm not sure this is what you're looking for, but I got "In the World of Black and White", and it is, like, traffic cone orange. Like the colour of an actual highlighter. Very, very bright, and I love it.

I don't usually have much to say, so words from me mean you're doing something very right.

OOPS...that is a Navajo Indian Taco

5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 lb. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Vegetable oil
Water to be able to handle (make mixable)
1 lb. hamburger
2 lg. tomatoes, chopped fine
1 lg. onion, chopped fine
Salt and pepper to taste
1 lg. can refried beans
1/2 lettuce head, shredded
Salsa to taste
Get oil real hot (donut hot). Mix flour mixture until workable by adding water in small amounts. Make into large ball. Let stand 20 minutes. Take small soft ball size pinches off. Roll in floured surface by hand. Play with dough ball until large saucer size (or use rolling pin). Drop rolled piece in hot oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Put refried beans on, hamburger, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese. Salt and pepper to taste.

Never heard it refered to as a taco.
Navajo fry bread is awesome though. Great with honey.
