I tried to place the record high enough so that it's sitting on top of the area of concern (bottom edge around armpit level), as opposed to directly over. But since it's incredibly unlikely to print, if I resubmit somewhere else, I might end up making the linework slightly more diagonal or curved to be able to move the record up some.
This is really lovely, gmv definitely. Unfortunately, it's not in the fog and voting will be closing soon. *sad face* For that reason, do let me know if it prints elsewhere? I would like that very much. ;)

I agree with meh3884 about the concrete block, though I still love the shirt and I'm def in for one if it prints. Really clever take on the theme, but like s/he says, the block kind of dominates the image more than it should and overwhelms Mr. Reaper just a bit. (should that be DJ Reaper? :P ) Obviously, it's a bit late to be offering critique on it now, but just thought I'd pass on my two cents in regards to further designs. So yes and no, meh3884 -- the huge concrete block does take over the focus some, yes, but it is still a wearable tee-shirt design...for this humble wooter anyway. Will buy if it prints. We shall see, we shall see...
Anyway, good luck!

Re: you spin me right round

Not to start an argument or anything since I find nothing whatsoever wrong with this design (though it's not my favorite - no offense to the artist, of course) and I DON'T think it should be rejected, it's a nice shirt, but I am curious why everyone who was attacking the Cthulu shirt for being 'pop culture' is silent here. A depiction of a literary monster from a series of books not read by most of the population is pop-culture, but the walrus and the eggman from a very popular song that most of the population have heard/heard referenced have not? I don't know many people who could properly tell me anything about Cthulu if he/it was mentioned, but almost everyone I know would reply 'Cukoo-kuchu!' if I said, "I am the eggman!" Far more people have heard that song than have read Lovecraft's work.
So, sorry all you 'Cthulu-is-pop-culture!' ranters, but your inconsistencies all but scream artist/subject bashing to me.
