Here's the recipe. I used 5 tablespoons of real bacon bits instead of bacon and I probably put in more onion and sweet red pepper than it calls for.

Need some help. Person said his parents came from Cuba on a boat. Then says, my mom actually came on a modiate, which is history.

Modiate is phonetic. Anyone have any ideas?

It most likely would be pronounced Mah-dee-el.

Severe thunderstorms about 20 miles to our west. I'm kinda doubting we'll get any of it now as it seems to be traveling more northeast

What a lovely evening. In the 70s. It's not going to last, but it feels great now.
