Afternoon.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY POOF AND POOFGUY!!!

Dinner out sounds nice, I hope you both enjoy it.

Took a picture of our first daffodil of the year. Poor lonely flower.

Should have more in a couple weeks. I guess they'll be here for Easter.

Bobbin housing came out of borrowed sewing machine so no sewing done last night. This is one of the reasons I wish I had my own machine, then I'd know how to put it back together, theoretically.

Orc wants me to go to work, I want Ver3 to nap, we'll see if anyone gets what they want.

Dinner out was very nice. Brought home plenty for lunch tomorrow.

If I wanted to be really petty (which, of course, I don't) I could bring up the fact that once again he brought me flowers in the colors he likes, not the colors I like.

And, yes, I know it's petty. And, yes, I know I should be damn thankful he brought me flowers. And I am.

I guess my dishwasher needs repairing, but I'm really confused. I put the little pillow thingie of detergent where it belongs and close the little door. But when the dishwasher is done, the little door is open but the little pillow is still there.

Raining here again today, but sadly can't do a second day of being as lazy as can be. pfft

Yesterday, I received my bag o crap. I didn't know that Woot had calendars. Anyone know if they were for sale on a woot page at some point or were these made just to give out in Big o' Cosmos's?

Poof, if you look online you'll see a lot of people have similar issues with those pillow tablets, I did too. Mine works fine with the powder detergent, but is hit or miss with the pillow type ones. Dishwasher is less than a year old too and repair guy said nothing is wrong with it. I read this not long ago. I've just decided to stick to the powder and have had no problem since.

I've had no problem for nine years. I moved a couple things in the dishwasher last night and ran it again. Worked fine. We'll see what happens.

I love my kindles. So nice for travel, so much cheaper, and less to store. I still buy 'real' books, but only for specific authors.

There are a few authors/series that I collect in hardbound, and have signed by the author when I get the chance.

And I think most non-performers will have to look it up!

Edit: Just pre-ordered the newest Terry Pratchett book, Snuff. I will also purchase a book if it's not available in Kindle, but it bugs me to do so for books that I don't want to keep long term. Need to start visiting the library!

I can't wait. I'm already collecting books to read. I'm pretty sure if I save them on my pc I can transfer them to the Kindle. I had a hard time deciding between the Kindle and the Nook. I finally decided on the Kindle because the reviews say it is better in sunlight. All that said I would have bought the refurb'ed Nook from Woot if I hadn't ordered the Kindle.

Yes, you can move any books you've downloaded onto your kindle. You register the kindle to an amazon account, and use the 'manage my kindle' feature. My sister and I share an amazon account, so we can share kindle books.
