Ohhh, I wish you could pick the good days.

I start steroids today. 15 days. Lets see what my right hand thinks about this.

Diagnosis was "blame your mother"
Nope, wrong. It was grandma. Mom didn't notice any arthritis until she was 85.

Gosh, arthritis pain is awful. I have it in my left knee - not too badly, but enough to cause me to take naproxen once in awhile. It really just dulls the pain. I am oh so sorry that you have this affliction. Big hug.

I'm hungry for a really good hot dog and I can't think of anyplace that has them.

Sonic used to have great hot dogs, but it's been awhile since we don't have one near here.

edit: 7-11 hot dogs aren't bad, either.

Afternoon wootville.

Thanks Ktc, I must have missed the calendars and woot monkeys on a keychain. I don't get around to checking the woot offerings all that often anymore.

Finally a sunny day and stuck in anyway. lol

Thanks! It is more an issue of loss of mobility and strength.
Because if you are right handed, you don't need the right hand for anything.

I wonder if I would have been better off with carpal tunnel?

lp lady, how hard is it to check woot every day??????
See, you missed important stuff, like keychain monkeys!

I have a jar opener gadget that's great if you have trouble with that. Some days I can open them and other days I don't even bother trying.

HA, sometimes I stop by and never even look to see what the woot is that day. Just seems the majority of the time it's things that have already been sold and either I already have it or don't need it.

Lately I only know if it's a woot off if someone mentions it here or in lp...if I happen to be on that day.

The aunt (mom's good friend aunt, not blood) who just died said that she was the only one in her complex who could still open jars!

I do need an electric can opener for those days. I should buy one.
The manual ones don't seem to be set up for left hand. Unless it is because I'm still putting it on the can the normal way, for right handed opening.
This sounds like it needs a science experiment.

Ha!

When I first moved here, my SO and I had 'Weiner Wednesdays'. We tracked down every little hotdog stand and wagon we could find for dinners.

HotDog Johnny's, off 46 in Jersey, probably gets my vote. Good dog, good fries, good birch beer...plus, it's in Buttsville. How is that not a TOTAL winner?!?

Umm Hello?

Had sausages for dinner last night. That's pretty much as close as we get to having hot dogs, except occasionally, we'll grill the one's with cheese in them. Their just evil and wrong enough to be good.

We are having chicken bog for dinner. It's a coastal SC dish. Chicken, rice, sausage, spices, celery, onions.

I started with Stacey Little's Chicken Bog recipe from Southern Bite and changed it to fit what I had in the kitchen. You know I can never remember what to do to make the link cute and clickable.

http://southernbite.com/?p=551

edit: I used cajun seasoning and smoked sausage. I had half a turkey breast in the freezer left over from the holidays so I used that instead of chicken. I didn't have any Dale's. I used Swanson's chicken broth since I didn't cook the chicken. I have seen celery, onions and green pepper added but I didn't. Both hubby and daughter ate it.

edit2: Check out Stacey Little's pecan chewies. They are divine! (I reduced the butter by 1/2.)
