small example: My mom needs a new broom. How hard can that be???
It has to have white bristles. They have to split on the bottom. It "polishes" the floor.

My kitchen broom has those bristles. It is black. No good.

How long we have been looking for said white/split bristle broom....3 years.

Congrats if it is!

Gotta admit, I never worried about an octopus climbing the empire state building. Then again, that was almost a mile from where I worked, so who cares!
Just stay off of my building.

LOL I used to work the next block over at a PR Firm... I think I would have been glad to have a giant octopus be the reason I didn't have to go to that dreadful job any day of the week.

Long Island has started putting cameras in busy intersections to catch people running the red light.
Except I got rear ended stoping for the light when it just turned red, when I was a new driver.

Hope your car luck changes soon.
I haven't been caught yet.

we have lots of cameras here, well in the state.

When I got my license I was threatened with my life if I ever got in a wreck, but my mom also said if I got a speeding ticket on a certain road, she'd pay it if I was only 3 mph over. She thought it was nuts that the road was only 55, now if you can do 45 down it you are lucky, there's been so much development. Used to be all farms.

They usually don't bother pulling you over if you aren't 10 mph over.

Maybe less in a side street. Big roads and highways tend to be higher.

5 over here although I've been pulled over while going under and been told I was doing 15 over! Which my truck wasn't capable of doing on the drag strip. I went took it to court and somehow my summons arrived a week after the date...... cannibals poop, which rots and the carbon eventually oxidizes and makes its way back into the atmosphere. trees just keep getting bigger and bigger, sequestering carbon from the atmosphere.

I retired at 55 to travel with my husband and see more of the world and relax - not to be. Took care of Mother, Father, and husband through their illnesses. Now that I am able once again to do and go and enjoy, etc., I seem to be a traffic magnet. MAKE IT GO AWAY

I think my grandma is 80. She is also bored, and somewhat ornery. We lover her very much, even though she is crazy. If you go near Tampa you should visit her. Actually, I haven't called her lately, I should, although I did talk to her yesterday or Saturday I think.
