Shirt.Woot

Our dogs woke me from a deep sleep, barking like mad. I jumped up, concerned Jimmy had fallen down the well - again. Food didn't quell them and I knew something was seriously wrong when they started staring at my keyboard... I flicked my monitor on and shirt.woot was still on my screen from last night... I refreshed - the elusive "Random" offering appeared, as well as the eerily appealing $6.66. Needless to say - I took it as a sign and snagged 2... I've trained the beasts well... Fingers crossed for sunshine, rainbows and kittens with big dopey eyes... My first order ever (and the one that brought me out of periodic lurking since 4/10) was 2 "acquired taste". The next day "binge" for my husband. These two make my 5th in less than a week here... Please help me...

This will be the first time I've ever passed up the random shirts on purpose. Lately the woot shirts are all cutesy food or shirts that have to be explained. Nah.

Curse you, full day of classes! Even 7 AM is too late to get Mediums. But I suppose not falling asleep in class is a bonus. No promises about Accounting.

I've bought the random shirt just about every time I could, and I have indeed got some great shirts. Yes, I have also got some that I could have lived without, but I just give those away for Birthday and Christmas presents.

I've only gotten one random so far that I wasn't happy with, and it was for the Hubbs. He's actually said it's started growing on him even though it's still folded up and awaiting a nibble in trading.

Though I can't order him one this round, I can order for my kiddos ^_^ I do hope we get something fun for them!

Sadness, all of the sizes I would get are sold out.

Oh well, I'll just buy them in 2x and wear them super baggy! :-p

i hope i manage to pull 3 blurry question marks. that would be the best...

I'll probably regret ordering 3 random shirts again, last time I ordered was back on 11/26/07. I am hoping for the best of the worst.

I feel like I should know this by now, but how do they even have extras? How do they decide how much to print of each shirt and which sizes?

It's pretty ridiculous that they could run out of M, L, and XL. I mean, it's a warehouse. They probably have a lot of crap left. Surely there's some there. Boo.

Dammit. I keep hoping for a blurry question mark t-shirt. Fail.

Agreed. And they'd have more than 3k shirts too! These are already printed RANDOMS! (jumps on the Woot complaint train...)

In for 3... 2 for myself and 1 for my son. I did this last time there was a random shirt offered and we actually ended up with 3 shirts we liked. My son wears his immediately after it goes thru the wash every time. He got the one that has the ring and eye of Sauron from LOTR. I got the one with the Kool-Aid dude and the wolf and 3 little pigs, and the Chucknorium periodical table shirt. I wear the Chucknorium around the house mostly, the shirts are very comfortable. The Kool-aid shirt gets so many comments when I wear it out. Everyone asks me where I got it from and just love it.

In for three as well, first time ordering the randoms, Hopefully all goes well I swear if I get any of the ones that only sold 2 shirts or a cutsie one I'm gonna be heated. :P

In for three Mens 3x. Was shocked that the other sizes were sold out so fast, but we always order the 3xs anyway.

I've learned my lesson after my last two random shirts, and this one ain't tempting me. Plus they're out of my size.
