Re: Sticking Out
This is delightful; a design that speaks to the oddball but also the undercover agent. Furthermore, i think the choice of animals inspires a deeper ponder as to who we are, in the midst of others, or simply in contrast.
Re: Will Maul 4 Ice
"Truly helpless, even if they could try to help themselves." I really like this one. Really do. (Such a contrast to out local beggar who sleeps in a hotel at night. Hey at least he's got AC/Heat.)
greenlightgo722 wrote:I wanted this shirt so badly during it's initial challenge, and I want it so badly still. If it doesn't print during this double take, and it doesn't get an EC, then please print it somewhere else, so I can give you my hard earned money for your amazing design and I can put this in my closet and wear it around and explain it to people all the time... :-)
I second this! Most times people just get a good chuckle out of my woot shirts or think that they are cool. It'd be neat to have them both think that it was the coolest thing that they'd seen in a while AND wonder what the heck it all meant.
Dog is like *DERP* This would be a hit at work.
Re: You Weren't Invited
Re: happiness
I don't think any design better exemplifies the derby than this one.
The thumbnail doesn't do it justice... It is especially hard to see it in this particular derby where there are so many well-done designs. I wish that I could change the thumbnail so that people could say, "oh yeah I remember that design." Right now it just looks like a cute little mouse and I know that its votes are suffering for it... Anyway, thanks for the votes and comments! It was a very fun design to work on.

Thanks for the comments cmonkey, lonelypond and elviswind! It's nice when I try something that feels very different and people like it!
Re: Stripes Are Flattering
It's funny, I think yours are the only two yellow tees in this whole double-take. I'd love to see both this and Toucan print, but I think if I had to choose I'd take the zebra here. It's just such an amusingly absurd illustration. Hope it gets lots more votes, and if not, lemme know where you eventually sell it, 'kay?
Re: Hoshi Encounter (RESUB)
Really like this one! You've got wonderful detail work here.
fuhennori wrote:But where was it submitted precisely? Cause this is possibly the shirt I was most looking forward to getting another shot at! :D
Indeed, im curious where it was submitted to

Sort of. They're mermaids.
Re: Break Free
I like the idea... but honestly, even carved carousel horses have better physique. Personally, I would probably want one if the body was less stylized and more traditionally anatomically correct (especially those legs.) Is the carousel design supposed to mimic the taj mahal or russian design? Cool difference in that.
"worry is a waste of the imagination."
Re: Poo-too-weet
EC THIS WOOT. so good.
Re: Ninja Stars
Ninja power! Super duper.
Re: Rain Shower
I can totally see my sister's pagan group ordering these... If it prints, I'll get one for her.
On a shirt, a hand coming out of the torso might be odd. But the image is nice!

Aww, it dropped out of the hotness again. I am rooting for this one!
Re: star seeder V2
it very much reminds me of one of those paint with water coloring books.. very cool!

Hahaha! He looks so happy! I want one.
Re: Go Ahead, Make My Day
this is one of my favs! +1
Re: Scoville Scale
In the fog! Let's hope it sticks (and hopefully skyrockets to top three!). Still would be my first woot for myself.
Always liked this one. I'd love to get to buy it! You've got a sale from me if it prints.
Re: Toucan Sheds His Tint
Thanks for all the votes everyone! I'm surprised I'm still in the fog. Keeping my fingers crossed!
omnitarian wrote:Were You Aware? Living triceratops would have had anywhere from 432 to 800 teeth?
So you're off by a factor of 216 to 400? At first, in the T derby, I rejected this shirt, but, after exposure to it, that rejection turned into uncontrollable need. Sounds like a psycological problem or secret brainwash patterns in the image.
Re: Heaven Above, Earth Below (Or: Lotus)
How can this NOT be in the fog?! I was all psyched to wear it!
Don't like admitting to this but: I voted because I would really like to see this win over the other entries, even though I probably wouldn't wear it. It's such a great design. It may actually test my willpower if printed.
haidoni wrote:I like this... but am i the only individual that has a feeling of concern that it might be understood in a more perverse manner?... Was it intended that way? Hey, if it was, more power to you for trying to reach a broader genre.
The title may imply that, but the image can hardly be construed as such. Also, why the lack of votes for such a perfectly simple design? Or are people burned out of food avec faces?
Noooooooooooooooooooooooo Jatravartid other shirts hogging the fog. *grumble* If this doesn't get an EC, I may have to just go the old print-out-a-screenshot-and-tape-it-to-a-white-shirt route.
bluejester wrote:I voted for it again and think that the design is awesome. But I don't know how to descret about this, but...umm...I worry about the placement of the wires and how it might look on women...sorry
You did a good job. However, I feel that the focus of this shirt will easily draw attention away from that particular detail.
