I guess that's good (the not missing anything, not the no one being here - unless we are talking about No1 and then that's nice!)

Mom-in-law is arriving around Thursday, en route from CA now (she was visiting Orc's step-brother there.) Ver1 had two days off school and we didn't manage to get a thing done, but we had some very valid and important distractions. I got to help at a birth and I'm still dancing from the excitement, when I'm not falling over from the exhaustion.

I was just going to say I'm pulling a...but I can't remember the guy's name. The one who used to talk to himself. And occasionally write a poem. I think it was the same guy. Rugby?

If I was here, I would confirm, yes, it was pulling a Rugby....I think. Ask Cruzer, AZG, or lynnie.

Morning!

Have my home work station setup, yay! So nice to not be confined to the laptop monitor anymore. And have a keyboard and mouse!

It's a GORGEOUS day! :D

Morning PWA!

YAY ICE for no puddles!!!

Mayvn - I need to do that because I hate working on the laptop monitor. Plus, I'm used to having two screens at work....

Yep, as am I. I usually have 5-6 windows open at any given time, so being limited to one monitor was frustrating. Now, I'll be grumpy at work since that's a smaller 2nd monitor. :D Got the biggest one I could find, since I can use it with my personal laptop as well. Plus, not everything is on a desk, with a real mouse and keyboard and chair, rather than taking over a couch in the living room.

My speech is not parsing. I am speaking in ellipsis.

My Kindle arrived! It is charging up and downloading the 90 free books that I "bought" while waiting for it to be delivered. It is supposed to have ads but I haven't seen any yet.

Ads on a kindle?

Weird...or ads in the books that were free?

I've never seen an ad, on any of my kindles.

Morning, PWA. Hoping it turns out to be a better day than the start of it has predicted.

Uh-oh, what happened?

Just stuffed some black olives, not as difficult as I had envisioned. Wish, though, I could have found bigger ones.

Going to the derm. today. Then off to dinner with friends. Its the going out to dinner that is to blame for the extra weight. Oh well, tomorrow, back to the gym.

Unsettling dreams. That, and an annoying tick up in my weight (though I'm sure KtC will tell me I oughtn't care.)

The stuffed olives sound yummy. What did you stuff them with?

Philadelphia garden harvest cream cheese.

Now doing onion wraps. Green onions, thin-sliced ham, chive & garlic Philadelphia sprea.

New kindle. Only 114.00 if you agree to see adds. I haven't found them to be a problem at all. They show up like a screen saver. I absolutely love the kindle.
