But I guess they do or you wouldn't be doing it.

Yep. If we tried it the other way, you wouldn't be able to move if their doors were open.

So we should wash and dry clothes on the first floor and then carry them down to the basement and then later carry them back upstairs?

You should build a new extension and then use it to dry clothes????
When you have a yard and a dryer???

Wow, it has been years since I've seen clothesline in a basement

Some things don't go through the dryer. In addition, he hangs up all the shirts and blouses on the line. Did I tell you that a week after he retired he said he'd take over the laundry?

My husband did about 5 or more loads of laundry today. Odd since the new machine can wash everything in the entire house in one load.

He ran the machine for a tie.

One tie.

It had a stain and would be thrown out anyway. But run the washer for a tie??????

Then the dryer??????

It didn't survive.

He also irons everything he wears. Jeans, shorts, tee shirts.

I'm trying to remember the last time I ironed something. No luck.

Good morning all.
Currently 81 heading for a high of 102.
I can't wait until next weekend when the highs will be back in the upper 90s.

I guess I'd better shower and pick up the f-i-l. They'll have hot water by 11 a.m.if all goes well.

In the end only kindness matters

I don't wear ties, call me paranoid, but I think wearing a tie is the same as wearing a sign that says strangle we with this sign.

I also worry that if I turn my head to fast I might snap my neck...

Also, I'm finally moving out of my parent's house! All it took was my parents buying a house close to school and not charging me any rent to live there! To be fair though, they feel it is a good investment, and they aren't going to be loosing any money on it. It is a really good location for a good price and they are going to rent one of the rooms out. With some luck by the time I graduate housing prices will be back up too.

This no chemicals in the yard is making the grass mostly clover. I forgot that the flowers attracts bees. So I just pulled the flowers off. Then I got the sharp, forked stick thing and pulled most of the dandelions. Can't get the whole root, they will be back.

If we ever go on vacation, we are going to have to do the weed killer and grub killer the day we leave.

If we go anywhere.

Maybe now that no kids are moving we will have time.

If we ever go on vacation, I guess I'll figure out who to volunteer with when I get home.
There are two places, in the same town. People like volunteering at both. Everyone who volunteer says the other place is bad, go to their place.
