I see how it is. The waffle cone is killed by the King's Executioner, who, like the king, is SUGAR CONE. Looks like class struggle me. Waffle Cone Revolution!
Re: You Have to Kiss a Lot of Frogs ...
Thanks for the feedback! Think it's a little too late to resubmit though
Re: Two Kings
I think the king of the jungle needs a crown too =P haha

So what sounds do YOU hear? I hear scraping metal...I can't help but think of rusty armor squealing and screeching for some reason haha...
I plan on buying this one, very nicely done!
Re: off with his scoop!
I really like this entire composition.
From the execution's chocolate hood, to the kings cherry on his crown.
Just seriously great work.
Re: Crest Fallen
One that I was truly impressed with the first time I saw it.

YAY for Edgar!
Re: I am awesome!
i don't know why, but I MUST OWN THIS
sogj wrote:i don't know why, but I MUST OWN THIS
You must own this because you are awesome. It is right there in the title.
Re: royal grunge
I like the style. Good job.
Re: Penguinus IV
beautiful work. This would make a good label for some fancy imported brew, too.
Re: La Revolution
A bit late in the derby, but it's good to be back in the saddle after being out for nearly 2 months.
When I read the prompt, the French Revolution came to mind, and then I thought how would a deck of cards stage a revolution - with a paper cutter of course.
Re: Storybook Castle
maybe my resolution is to blame, but this does appear to feature the forbidden gradients.
DeadMonster wrote:maybe my resolution is to blame, but this does appear to feature the forbidden gradients.
Your resolution is to blame. They're halftones, which only look small because the image shown isn't very zoomed in (it's tough to show very thin, vertical art in a square image!). Plus, Woot has had the high res file since Friday so if there's a problem they'd find it pretty quick.
aliceinwootland wrote:If there wasn't a skull I would buy this in a heartbeat. I know it wouldn't quite make sense, but it's a great image. I just don't like skulls. :D
Thanks for letting me know. I had quite a hard time on the skull so it's not my favorite part of the image either. LOL. However I agree that some of the meaning might be lost without it in the image.
Re: The Royal Shame
I love the actions of the cards.
Definitely a +Uno
thanks for the feedback, this is my first derby entry ever. I thought a lot more people would dig the simplicity of my design. No worries though.
Re: King Me!
I'd also love to have this shirt argh.
Re: Fallen Royalty
I would definitely buy this one! :]
Wow, I didn't even see the Rejectionater coming on this one

YES!! EXACTLY! thanks for noticing. up the waffles!
Re: tombs of the pharaohs
pretty sure i converted to halftones, but the interpolation i used to shrink the print-ready design to display size seems to be smooshing my dots. a rejection based on that would be disappointing but not totally surprising.
Re: Crown of Broccoli
Re: Chicken Caesar
Re: Regal Rainbow v.2
Love it! +1
fantastic work! +1
super funny, great one lucky
This is ace!
Re: chop it down
love your style, just love it in general +1
awesome stuff +1
love that there are no outlines, wonderful design
awesome and very clever sir
rejectionator is being a prick this week.
Oh no! This has dropped from the fog. I was so much hoping to get this shirt.
This is a really interesting and well executed design. It would also make a great bag or poster. If you did a a tote or saddle bag of some sort through another site, I would definitely want to buy that...

You might want to post a large image of the design showing the halftones in this thread, so the rejectorator can see that you attempted to do so...
